Just wanted to let you all know what happened to me and why I quit greenpond. I stuck it out for almost 4 years. If anyone would’ve ask me a year ago if I liked my job I would have said YES, I love it! The owners used to treat me like I was part of their family and was always there anytime I needed anything. The last few months had changed drastically! I felt so unappreciated and so disrespected not only from Mary and Dan but especially their son Nil. He started acting like he was the boss and everything he said is how it was to be done. He decided that we should shut down the deli so in the event they needed to, they could run the store themselves and not have to hire anyone. They made me feel like I wasn’t needed any longer. I put a lot of my time, effort, and mostly my heart into that business and they didn’t appreciate any of it. I worked any time they needed me and did everything they asked and more. I mentioned one day that minimum wage would be going up soon and they said that was crazy! They would NOT pay $15/hr. So I took it they felt I wasn’t worth it! Well enough of that. I just wanted to let all of you, my very loyal customers, what had happened and why I was no longer there to serve you. I hope each and everyone of you will continue to keep in touch through Facebook either on this page or my personal one. Thanks so much for making my days and time at greenpond a better and more pleasant experience. I miss you guys dearly!

Just a reminder that we have a variety of dinners for you guys who need a break from cooking in the heat. Hamburger steak, country fried steak with white gravy, boneless pork chops, chicken livers, chicken breast, and chicken tenders. They all come with 2 sides and a roll.
