Several Lake Shelbyville recreation areas will temporarily close for the annual Youth Deer Hunt from October 11 - October 13.

Area closings include Sullivan Beach, Whitley Creek Recreation Area, Opossum Creek campground, and the entire Wilborn Creek park. This includes boat ramps located in these areas as well.

We are extending our hours this Wednesday July 3rd and will be open 6am to 8pm. We will close at noon on the 4th so that we can spend the holiday with our family. Regular hours will resume on Friday.

Stop in, we have what you need to make your 4th of July celebration more festive: solar lights and string lights, table cloths, glow stuff and laser lights, flags, head bands, and more!

Free Fishing Days is an annual four-day celebration during which anglers can fish without purchasing a license, salmon stamp or inland trout stamp in Illinois.

It’s a great opportunity to introduce friends and family to the fun of fishing.

This weekend is the kickoff off summer and we’re stocked up and ready to help you start your summer off right.

We have extended our hours for the weekend. We’ll be open until 8pm on Sunday and will close at noon on Monday. We’ll be back to our regular hours on Tuesday.

We now have leeches! Putting them in cups is definitely a job for Robert, as I am not a fan! I tried fishing with them once but that was a fail when I couldn’t force myself to touch them. But those who fish with them swear by them!

Hey everybody, we now have gift cards! They make a great gift for anyone who enjoys camping, fishing, or just being out at the lake. If you have kids or grandkids, it will give them independence to shop themselves and is more convenient than cash. Pick one up the next time you’re in the area!
