She brings so much laughter
and joy into our days here at Gulotta’s. 😃
As the matriarch of her family we are proud to welcome her to our work family here just this month!
Sandy comes to us with a background in health care. Working for many years caring for patients, she then moved on to working in the deli at Big Y where she got her footing in the food world.
👏🏼 We are excited to welcome her home at Gulotta’s as she steps into the role of working in the store with her beloved Family. Sandy is Mom to store Manager Mindy, and Nana to Vanessa and Brianna. 🤗
In her free time Sandy spends pretty much every waking hour caring for her large family. She is the proud Mother of 5, and Nana to 9!! She welcomed her very first great grand baby this past year. 🥰
Working many years on Bow Wow farm alongside her family, she is long time Sheffield resident dating way back to the Markham roots which also run in the Gulotta’s family tree! 🌳

Hey there Madi! 👋🏼
This Saturday we are taking a look on down the line to Madison Gulotta! 🔦
Better known as Madi, she is a 4th generation Gulotta and we are fortunate enough to have her come work with us from time to time. 🥰
Madison is Sarah’s daughter, and Tony’s granddaughter. Spending many of her days growing up going to work with her mom, and grandad. She’s known the ins and outs of this family owned store since she could toddle around. In recent years she has learned more of the food and coffee business. Offering us much relief in the summer months during busy season to assist. She fills in at the store when she is on school breaks, and weekends.
If you know Madison you know she is a ray of sunshine! ☀️ Always radiant and smiling.
Madison is a junior at Housatonic Regional High School in Falls Village Ct. Where she is enrolled in the agricultural and science programs. Madison is an active member of the FFA, a member of the softball team, and the travel club!
📍 Last year her travels took her to Ireland and Scotland, this year she is visiting Iceland! 😯
She also works for her Dad Alex In the summer months gardening. She has grown an interest in horticultural during her time at HVRHS in the floral, and landscape design programs.
In what little free time Madi has these days, she enjoys her cat Lola, her bunny Coconut, her boyfriend Bradyn, her sister Taylor, and family and friends, exercise and mobility practice, travel, and being outdoors. 😍
And it is bittersweet to say, she is planning for her senior year of high school, and her future!
AND she just got her drivers license a week ago today! Watch out world! 🌎

This beautiful Saturday morning we are shining our light over Kristin. 🔦
Kristin came to us in the summer of 2022. After many years working in the health care and emergency response, industry she decided to learn the ropes in our kitchen. She started working part time in the kitchen, learning how to prepare to go food like salads, wraps and sandwiches. Working her way through to learning to run the oven and expand her reach by preparing all food on the menu! 👩🏼🍳
Kristin spent many years working at Berkshire county dispatch. Earning the 2024 EMS communications specialist of the year award in Western Massachusetts. We appreciate and recognize her hard work with emergency services. Although Kristin now works full time with us at Gulotta’s she still works part time as a dispatcher. Kristin is on the Sheffield Fire Dept. After years of training, and expertise on other departments in previous places she has lived.
📍 Kristin originally from Cornwall Ct. Has lived many places, including Oregon and Oklahoma where her first two sons were born, before moving back home to Ct.
Kristin now lives in Great Barrington Ma. With her husband Jay, and their 3 sons Noah, Tucker, and Bryson. Of whom we all adore here at Gulotta’s. 🥰
Kristin is an active role model in the community, holding a seat on the Berkshire county Chargers football board, and president of Great Barrington little league. 👏🏼
Kristin is a versatile asset at Gulotta’s capable of running the store, running the kitchen, placing orders, taking inventory, and helping with all our electronic needs. A wonderful addition in Vanessa and Sarah’s life calling upon Kristin to help us with the newly designed paper menus, and the digital version coming soon!!!
Stay tuned for all Kristin has to come on her growth journey here at Gulotta’s and in Berkshire county. We appreciate her all around! 🙌🏻❤️

Vanessa, better known as Nessa to us,
is constantly pulling double roles here at Gulotta’s.
Taking on the task of being Sarah’s assistant is a tall order. 🫣
Her daily roles include everything from Uber driving Sarah and the girls around, to creating labels for all our to go food. Designing our uniforms (and new menus coming!) supplying our kitchen with supplies, running daily errands and pick ups for food items. Invoicing, generating spreadsheets, creating all our social media reels and stories. 🎥
Vanessa is a Sheffield OG, daughter to Mindy and cousin to Bree. 👩👧👧
Lover of dogs, cows chickens and all the animals she can get her hands on. 🤗
She loves all the kiddos, especially the babies. She loves the outdoors, mountainous adventures, the outdoors, and spending time with all her loved ones.
If you know Vanessa you know she is always bright and smiling, happy and bubbly. 😃
She can be found bouncing around these walls inside and out…

This Saturday we are shifting the focus to the kitchen to highlight Brianna, better known to us here at Gulotta’s as Bree! 🥰
Bree joined out team last summer part time. She began asssiting with our day to day kitchen operations. Brianna is a quick learner, quickly becoming the main person managing the to-go food production. Daily she is preparing fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, cookies brownies and more! 🍪
In the summer months she can be credited for many of our house-made ice cream sandwiches. 🍦
Bree is a native to Sheffield, born and raised in our small community. 🫶🏻
She even has close ties to our family squad here at Gulotta’s, as our very own store manager Mindy is her Aunt, and Vanessa her cousin!
Bree is a lover of Florida, (escaping to there soon!) bowling, her puppy dogs, the family farm and her two favorite little girls Sierra and Serenity. 👩👧👧
Chicken Parm day is a fan favorite around here!
