Happy 4th of July Weekend from The Epicurean Trader!

As an immigrant family living the American dream we want to thank you for shopping small. This 4th of July celebrates the 5th year anniversary of our Hayes Valley location and to celebrate, we're offering 15% off some of our bbq favorites!

This week we are highlighting small batch California producers that have truly been built from the ground up. This 4th we're celebrating we're bring to the party Alicia's Tamales salsa, Christie's potato chips and very our own line of antipasti!

In August of 2010, Alicia Villanueva came to La Cocina, a non-profit incubator kitchen in San Francisco’s Mission District, with a dream: to start her own tamale cart as a way to support her family. From a simple food cart, Alicia is a true example of the American dream. Alicia has grown her business to move into a 6,000 square feet factory, to scale up to 14 employees. We're fortunate to carry some of her incredible salsas such as the salsa roja and tomatillo. Check out her website for catering events!

Convenience can be king when it comes to showing up to a potluck and nothing reigns more supreme than our private label antipasti. From olive mixes to bruschettas we have the perfect sized antipasti containers to bring to any bbq or park hang!

Food stories are love stories and are best shared with our families, friends, and communities. This sweet and smokey rendition of the classic bbq potato chip will have you reminiscing about summertime barbecues. Christie's are made fresh and packed by hand. There's no artificial ingredients used and all of Christies chips are vegan.
