Summer is finally ramping up here in the city; St. George has crafted the perfect late-summer gin for those hot and humid days looming. St. George repeatedly proves their production quality to be above expected standards. Valley gin is a delicate floral expression that imparts scents of freshly bloomed orange trees. The palate is composed of fresh citrus notes, gentle hints of vanilla, and black pepper, and finished with some pineyness.

Although it can be enjoyed on its own over ice or neat, this gin goes above and beyond in a gin spritz!

Try this recipe;

Juice of 1 lime
3 to 6 mint leaves
A single tablespoon of sugar
1 ½ Oz of St. George Valley Gin
Your favorite sparkling wine (Although we recommend Adami Brut Prosecco Garbel!)

Muddle the juice, mint, and sugar together, then transfer to a shaker with your gin – shake! Strain the mixture over a chilled glass and then finish with a splash of your preferred sparkling. Garnish with mint and a twist of lime; enjoy!

Looking for a new tequila to try this weekend?

Founded in Los Angeles, distilled in Jalisco, Mexico; Cazcanes is a phenomenal expression with decades worth of tradition to back its name. Naturally, there’s nothing traditional about Tequila from roots in Los Angeles but it’s the story of its production that really shines through. Cazcanes is based on a decades-old moonshine recipe brought back to life with a modern twist.

Additionally, the distillery utilizes water drawn from a natural sight that was utilized by one of the indigenous peoples of Mexico of the same name, the Cazcans. With all these things in mind we’re set to experience a phenomenal product. Cazcanes Blanco no.7 is a delicious expression carrying beautiful minerality with notes of citrus, salinity, and the subtle sweetness of raw agave. The finish is subtle but refined carrying notes of citrus to finish off with a subtle vegetal flavor.
