Chili Heads Glass & V**e new location.
Chili Heads is still planning to move to a new location, which will mean better parking, more floor space and more products with a great environment. We have gotten some setbacks in the buildout, namely we hired a contractor who did some faulty flooring work. This flooring contractor was Paul Sanders under his former company Colorado Woodwork Inc of Poncha Springs, owned by Abbie Fritz. Since the installation this floor, this floor has buckled and cracked. It’s totaled. We contacted Paul and his company to come look at it and see if they can do anything under their stated 100% lifetime warranty. Paul responded, “improper maintenance is not our responsibility.” After our request, Paul and Abbie liquidated their company with the Colorado Secretary of State and refused to honor their warranty or even look at the installation he did. Our insurance company hired an engineering firm to determine the cause of this damage, and of course they determined it was due to faulty installation. We are pushing forward and will be open sometime, although we are set back several months. I am letting the public know about this to inform of our new location setback and also to warn about an unscrupulous contractor in the area under any new name they set up. Hope to see you all soon!
