Check out this week’s cocktail, in celebration of Hot Buttered Rum Day on Friday!
Ingredients:
• 2 oz dark rum spiced or aged is recommended
• 1 tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 cup hot water
• Pinch of ground cloves optional
• Cinnamon stick, lemon peel, or orange peel (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of cloves (if using) until smooth and well
combined.
2. Add the spiced butter mixture to a heatproof mug.
3. Pour the dark rum over the butter mixture.
4. Carefully pour 1 cup of hot water into the mug.
5. Stir gently until the butter melts completely and the mixture is fully blended.
6. For a festive touch, add a cinnamon stick as a stirrer.
7. Optionally, garnish with a twist of lemon or orange peel for a bright, citrusy aroma.

Check out this week’s cocktail!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Blueberries
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Blue Curaçao
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
Ice Cubes

Muddle blueberries: Place them in the bottom of your shaker and crush with the muddler.
Add vodka, blue curacao, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Fill the shaker with ice: This cools everything down.
Shake well: Do this for about 15 seconds until it’s well-mixed and chilled.
Strain into a martini glass.

For a non-alcoholic version: Swap vodka with lemonade or a lemon-flavored sparkling water.
