Medium depth of color with some nice red highlights poking through. Brown sugar and toasty oak dominate the nose. One sip and the palate is immediately coated with bold flavors of citrus oils, allspice, and raw honey, The finish shows a little heat but in not out of place with the intensity of flavor. The drier oak and baking spices are nicely complemented by richer notes of dark toffee and creme brulee.

The palate shows off its 7 years of maturity perfectly with soft yet intense oak, cookie dough, and an easy going fruitynes. On the finish this whiskey shows of its great harmony, soft yet powerful, complex yet easy drinking. The only thing better than a glass of this delicious bourbon is two !

Hunt for delicious whiskey continues!!! LJ team was invited to visit Powerscourt Distillery 30 minutes from Dublin, Ireland.

Their own whiskey is as amazing as the estate itself.

We picked two barrels of Fercullen Single Malt Irish Whiskey finished in Ryby Port and Cognac barrel. They should be arriving to the store right before St Patrick’s day 2025.
