New egg setup! 🍳

We have set up a “fix your own” station for our farm fresh eggs! These eggs are UNWASHED—meaning, they still have their protective bloom that allows them to remain out of the fridge for several weeks. In the refrigerator, unwashed eggs will last up to three months!

A half dozen of these eggs is $2.00. Come by and check them out!

Of course, we still have washed eggs ready to sell, as well!

General Summary:
Act as the point of contact for customers. Stock merchandise accordingly while keeping the front and back of the store clean and orderly. Greet customers cordially and offer assistance. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Duties & Essential Job Functions
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment from customers and make change.
• Clean the front end of the store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.

Knowledge & Skills:
• Ability to run a register and make change
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive Demeanor towards co-workers and customers

Work Experience and/or Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

✨OYSTER ROAST DETAILS✨

This Saturday, December 2, we are hosting our first Oyster Roast. Today is the last day to purchase tickets for this event- all proceeds will benefit Halifax Academy.

Event is rain or shine with limited space under the shelter. Please be prepared when you come with your own oyster knives, favorite drink, chair, pop up tent if needed, personal heater if desired, etc. We look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying Nixon’s good food!

Saturday, December 2nd, we will be hosting our first Oyster Roast (oysters, shrimp, bbq, slaw, tea and lemonade available). This is to benefit Halifax Academy Vikings and we couldn’t be more excited!
