While the future history of The Village Store is still being written, there is plenty of past history to be found. The last names of Hackman, Hoelker, Kellerman, Munchel,Suttman, Paul, Fullenkamp/Roell have relished the title of ownership. The lineage of the store has been sited in a couple places in the small town of Oldenburg. Most recently, Willie Suttman moved from the corner store (currently the Village Vet and a Beautiful World) to its current location in 1974. Willie owned the store from 1968-1992 when he sold to Jeff Paul. Jeff was able to continue to serve the town of Oldenburg until 2021 when he sold to Kelsey Roell and Shannon and Matthew Fullenkamp. This year on June 13th, it will mark the 50th anniversary of Der Kleinstadt Laden being at it’s current location. We strive to continue to serve the town of Oldenburg and all of our faithful followers for years to come! With that being said, June 13/14 we will be having a 50th anniversary 2 day sale! Stay tuned for some amazing deals, giveaways, and helping us celebrate 50 years!
