Jason Charles from Vinca Minor in Berkeley and Bret Hogan from Côte West in Oakland will be pouring samples of their wines (which of course will be available for purchase at PMW). Join the party!

New Burgundy producer alert: Domaine Arnaud Chopin & Fils. The two brothers who run this domaine visited our shop in January, and we were wowed by the delicacy, nuance, and ethereal nature of their wines. This is a very small winery and the supply is tiny (we got less than a case each of six wines)- so don’t delay if you want to check them out!

Join us this evening, May 4th, 5:00-7:00 pm for our first joint ACRE + Paul Marcus Wines event: a happy hour featuring the wines of local producers Billy D. / Ramble and Populis. ACRE will offer three wines from each producer downstairs by the glass, flight, or bottle. All of the wines will be available at Paul Marcus Wines for purchase to go, until 7:00 pm tonight and then 9:00 am - 7:00 pm on subsequent days.

The inimitable Billy Davies will be on hand to raise a glass with you and tell you a little more about the wines. (Ask him about his experiences growing up in Napa in the 1960s!) Our own Mark M will be there as well to answer questions about the Populis wines.
