My Dutch button supplier just sent me a huge box of samples. I unfortunately have a serious button addiction. But one really caught my attention and I'd like some input. It's a wood button with a carved Star of David in the middle and nice color around it (5 colors, no yellow of course). What do you think? They are small, so maybe for kids.

Well, I think I've recovered from TNNA . Cleveland was MUCH better than 20ish years ago (last time I was there) so I had a good time and ate well. Also sold a lot of yarn and buttons!

Well, I thought I had a timing conflict but nope, it's resolved. I'll be at TNNA in Cleveland after all! I'll be exhibiting as Ogier Yarns and will have all my hand paints plus my swifts, buttons and patterns. I've asked for Booth 252 (end of the first row). Plan to come and see me!!

Have been dyeing up a storm. Still don't have the new website up yet, but the dyeing is making me happy!

Just to keep life interesting (I guess) I now need to move from the warehouse I've had for about 10 years. The last move was horrendous. This will be 10 times worse! So between moving the website and moving the warehouse, I think dyeing will be a most welcome diversion when I can finally do it!

Oh, I am so-o-o having fun, dyeing a new yarn. Actually it's a ribbon (90% viscose, 10% nylon) and it is so shiny and gorgeous! It's 7 mm/or .25 inch wide. Yum!

I am ready to hit the road. If you are an LYSO and would like me to bring my yarns to your shop for a trunk show or fashion show, let me know! Fashion show means I come with garments, patterns, and yarn (you provide the models -- we can talk about that), Trunk show means I send yarn, patterns and garments but don't come myself. I personally prefer the former, and there is no discount for the latter.

I think I am done dyeing until after the show this coming weekend. It's the Bead & Design Show at the Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara CA. I'll be in Booth 139 -- inside the big ballroom, in the back corner. Be sure to look for our Orphans and Onesies bin!

Oh my goodness... Taking inventory today at the warehouse and what did I find? 15 skeins of undyed chunky 100% angora. Woo hoo!! This is the most luxurious stuff ever. Now, shall I dye 3 colors (5 skeins each) or more colors (fewer skeins each)? I can't get this yarn any more, so it's got to be spectacular!

Setting up today for the Tucson Bead Show! It runs tomorrow January 30th through next Saturday February 4th at the Radisson Suites Hotel on E. Speedway. I'm in booth 240/241. All my yummy yarns will be there with me!!

Oooh, just received a box of blanks from England so I can dye Prezioso 4ply (70% baby alpaca, 30% mulberry silk). So luscious!!

Well, dyeing one of our new yarns (Prezioso 4ply, 70% baby alpaca, 30% mulberry silk) hit a snag yesterday. I'd finished all the stock from the warehouse and opened the box that just arrived from England. Surprise! Somehow I managed to order the wrong yarn. I got on e-mail instantly and my wonderful mill in England already has it winging its way to America. But here's a preview post for you of one of the colors I got done.
