Reminder that tomorrow is the last day for the penguin patch/Christmas shop…..we don’t have any classes scheduled for tomorrow so any child who has not came yet or wants to come tomorrow we will be open 8am till around 12:00 before we start to pack up! Thanks and happy shopping!

For the Pizza Party for most money overall in the entire school………

Winner was 1st grade Mrs. Nesselrodt class with a total of $545.56

Ice cream party winners for the most points by grade……….

Pre K- Funk with 9,419
Kindergarten- Markwood with 6,911
1st grade- Nesselrodt with 35,622
2nd grade- Rumer with 7,554

I’ll attach a picture of the poster boards with each days totals for anyone who would like to see, they will also be hanging in the school for the week if anyone wants to stop in and look at it, we will be getting with the winning classes on their parties, the kids really enjoyed this and was very competitive!

Penny Wars update……..we have two more days get those Pennies in!!!!! Remember pennies and bills give you points and silver takes away! Overall class in the school gets a pizza party, for each grade there will be a winner for the most points and will get an ice cream party!!!

We are all set up and ready for book fair to begin tomorrow!!! Tomorrow Friday 13th we will be hosting our family night event from 4-7pm, please enter through the front doors and come down to the music room! We are super excited!!! Next week will start classes, if you can’t make it to family night and would like to come shop with your child feel free to come during school hours and shop!

We wrapped up the week with Lunch from O’Neills, and each of the teachers and staff got a nice gift from the PTO, all and all the week was a success! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to you all, we appreciate all you do!

Day one Breakfast 🍩 🥣 thanks to Moorefield Sheetz for providing Donuts for the teachers to start off week! Thank you to all MES Teachers and Staff for all you do daily for our children and community, you all are very much appreciated!

ATTENTION Teachers………Don’t forget to come into the book fair and fill out your wish list, we have extras if you need one, you can come in anytime you’re there at the school and do it, if we’re not there just leave the wish list on the table at the registers and we will get them!!

Parents if you wish to purchase your child’s teacher a book from their list, send in a note with your child the day they come to the fair and we will get the teachers list out and let your child pick the book!
