National Moonshine Day: In 1920, Prohibition was passed across the nation making legal alcohol inaccessible. Illegal liquor became an overnight business. The term “moonshine” developed from people making illegal spirits under the light of the moon. Moonshiners worked at night to avoid detection from authorities. Eventually, in 1933, the Prohibition was repealed. Today we can safely enjoy moonshine.

Mojave Liquor carries Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine. It is known to turns heads for being bottled in classic Mason jars, but it tastes just as good as it looks.

Ole Smoky Moonshine Recipe: “Summer Shine”
INGREDIENTS
• 2 oz. Ole Smoky® Sour Lime Moonshine
• 2 oz. Lemonade
• 2 oz. Orange Juice
• .25 oz. Lemon Lime Soda
• Lime Wedge for Garnish
