At Five Point we are always looking for ways to improve our selection. Some of our new options are Cotswold Gin both their Dry and the sweeter Old Tom pair that with Dolin Dry Vermouth and you have a recipe for a great Martini! Surly has jumped in to the THC Tonic biz with Take 5mg 6 packs and Double Take 10 4 packs, we also sell them by the can. Barmen Bourbon is becoming a local favorite, it’s a smooth sipper. Milagro Silver is a nice midrange Tequila that enhances any margarita. Leffe is a Belgian Blond Ale that has been brewing since for hundreds of years, light and refreshing. 1. What’s verjus? It’s a NA, high acid grape juice made with underripe grapes and can be used in cocktails and cooking - wherever you might use citrus!

2. How do I learn? Volunteer to help me pick the fruit! I’ll tell you all about it, and I’ll make sure a bottle of the finished product makes its way to you when it’s ready.

Tentative plan is to pick on Sunday in Mount Horeb - anyone game? Weather looks great!

May we welcome Tortilleria Zepeda to the market! Blue corn, yellow corn and white corn all ready for any creative endeavor! We also have their amazing tortilla chips…the perfect addition to any summer snack, picnic or meal!

A little more about them -

After recognizing a serious lack of authentic Mexican corn tortillas, Julian and Heidi Zepeda decided to open their own tortilleria in Lone Rock, WI. Using techniques taught to Julian by his family as well as Mexico’s leading tortilleros, the Zepeda’s have perfected the pre-Hispanic nixtamalization process to create the most authentic Mexican corn tortilla. They use only locally sourced Wisconsin organic corn and personally know each farmer, which makes an impact on our local food system.
