Bolivar Ci**rs
The Bolivar brand of ci**rs is one of the most famous brands of Cuban ci**rs, first introduced in 1901 by Jose F. Rocha but wasn’t actually registered in Havana until 1921. The name comes from the famous South-American revolutionary, Simon Bolivar, who liberated countries such as Venezuela, Columbia, Peru and Bolivia. After Rocha’s death, the company was taken over by Cifuentes y Cia and production was moved to the Partagas Factory in Havana.

Montecristo is the best known and probably most appreciated brand of Habanos throughout the world. It forms the benchmark for many Habanos smokers against which other brands are judged.
The name comes from the hero of Alexandre Dumas' famous novel 'The Count of Montecristo,' which was a firm favourite when read by the Lector to the Torcedores (cigar makers) at the factory where it was founded in 1935.
Worth knowing
So slowly, every aficionado can recite the Chinese zodiac by heart. But loving special editions are also nice, especially when not only the design is good, but also the product quality, as in the case of this large Toro for 85 – 105 minutes.
Aroma
The filler includes leaves from the DomRep and – of course – Nicaragua as well as those from Ecuador. The provenance of the wrapper and binder is once again a secret – we see little reason to doubt the usual combination „Indonesia + Ecuador“, because this imposing cigar brings exactly what you expect from a seasoned VF: Creamy smoke, a great rich nuttiness with sweet undertones, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and in between, again and again, ätheric crumbly notes to loosen up. In addition, there are more and more spicy notes with medium power. Once again, a first-class Limitada!
