You could have had anyone else at your event.

You could have supported any other business.

But you picked me and mine! And I’m forever grateful.

Which makes me a little sad to share this. After a lot of thought, consideration, and prayers, I’ve decided to close shop as a cigar vendor. While I have loved every minute of smoking, laughing, selling, and being THE CIGAR CHICK, God is shifting me in another direction.

Hollup and don’t you worry. I’m not going anywhere I’m simply changing what I’m slanging! 😜

A season is a period of the year that is distinguished by special climate conditions. Each has its own light, temperature, and weather patterns that repeat yearly. (That’s what google said!)

Ecclesiastes 3:1 — (NCV) says: There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season.

Now beloved; I don’t know what that means for you right now or whether you’re in the midst of your winter season where sadness, heartbreak and grief has shown up and threatened to overtake you and your mind. Or whether you’re in the newness of spring where hope and new beginnings seem promising, the smile just won’t leave your face because favor; it’s everywhere. Or summer done appeared and brought with the sun an abundance of distractions and you just can’t seem to get going, anything finished and it feels like you’re going in a hundred different directions. Or just maybe you’re in the midst of fall where you’re up one day with successes and then here comes failure to knock you back down and you keep saying; it’s always something!

Wheresoever you find yourself, keep going. I don’t know when your season will change, when the winds of heaviness will stop blowing, the sun will stop beating down on you and the flowers will bloom again but what I do know is this; while you can’t determine how you’ll come out of the season you’re in; you can determine your attitude during it!

Be content! I’m not saying be happy hell is breaking loose; no what I’m saying is stand still in the rain and ease your mind. You ever wonder how someone going through so much; momma died, job downsized, eviction notice and then some ninja done stole the car didn’t give up or go crazy? It’s called peace! Knowing that I can’t change nothing I can’t control so what’s the point of me and God worrying about it when His hands are bigger than mine, He has all the power and His promises never fail!
Chile; gone sleep through that thunderstorm happening in your season because God is still working but when you wake up KEEP FAITHING!

Seasons eventually change and all that rain you got last season was watering you for the blessings getting ready to come. You’ve just got to keep doing the work until then! 🙌🏽

Dear God,

I’m yet thanking you for shelter, heat and provision but while I’m thanking you for what I have can I ask that you cover, shield and provide for those who don’t?
Will you encamp your angels and send needed resources. Will You be the God of Psalm 91 to someone on today who needs You and may not know it or You? Be their refuge and fortress; their places of safety and security. I know You’re well able to because You’ve done it before and surely!

Keep us all in Your care and not just doing frigid weather, snow and wind chill advisories but everyday! Amen!

I hope everyone affected by this weather is safe and warm. That you have all you need to sustain you. That the peace of God blankets you like this snow. That you take this time to make memories with your loved ones and check on others.

If you want God to do the super; you’ve got to do the natural!
Whew...that’s a word for somebody before you get ready to end one year and go into a next one.

Stop waiting on God to do all the work when every morning His mercies for YOU are new. Every morning YOU have a chance to do it again. Every morning YOU have a do over!

Keep putting your trust in greens to bring you money, black eye peas to bring you luck and all those other generational thangs grand momma nem instilled. Yep; they good to eat but it’s your faith that’s going to make it work.

After you eat, turn around three times and let a man walk through your house first; chile get yo butt up and put some work behind your faith AND your words and do in the natural what you’re expecting God to do for YOU in the super!

For my Bible tells me in James 2:26 (GW): A body that doesn’t breathe is dead. In the same way faith that does nothing is dead. 😬

If you just want to know what blessed looks like; this compilation kinda sums it all up!!! I’m not trying to boast; well that’s a lie because look-a-here there's no other way to explain it.

Here’s my truth; pain has slowly started to creep its way back into my jawline and stiffness is ever the more present and while I want to be scared; fearful even I still trust God. Knowing that if He did it for me back then SURELY He can do it again BUT even if He don’t; I’ll still bless His name!

I'm still here, still smiling, still trusting and praying and the devil in hell and some of y'all walking here on earth still mad but baby that’s your cross to bare! 🤷🏽‍♀️
