How Nena’s Market Came to be.
It all started with a dream 10 years ago.

Locals know many years ago this land was a junkyard filled with tires and metal scraps with a small building. Francisco drove by and found the property was for auction and thought to himself, what is someone going to do with this? He had a dream.

In his dream, Francisco looked down and as if he was seeing the impossible. All was clear except for a building. He wasn’t too sure what the building was but he knew it wasn’t the same property he had seen previously. The Junkyard was gone and this building was new, and he knew in his heart that it was his. He was going to be the one to clear the yard and bring something new to Wesley Chapel. But even with this vision he wasn’t fully clear on where his next steps would take him.

And so, Francisco stayed committed to what he felt was a God given dream and found a way to purchase the property. He spent many days going through and clearing up all that was left. Over 1,000 tires and 70,000 pounds of rusted steel was removed from the property with the help of his daughter.

Then came another dream. A voice spoke to him.
May of 2013 a voice spoke to Francisco. “Start working on your dream model. Start working on your dream model NOW.” Francisco saw the building again more vividly. He jumped out of bed at 4 am to grab his tools and drew his building. And prayed for God to give him confirmation.

A couple weeks later, Francisco was attending his son’s graduation at Wesley Chapel Elementary. There at graduation the children sang a song with the lyrics,” dream, dream big, dream reaching the stars…” and afterwards received a positive call. He got the water extension for the property and the next thing to change the zoning to commercial!

And the rest is history.

Francisco always believed God puts dreams and desire in one’s heart. Because as the scripture says,’ we walk by faith and by sight.’ When you put your faith on the line because you see nowhere to go God comes in and lays the path before you.

And through his belief, Nena's Market opened for business January 3rd, 2018
