Good morning everyone and happy Sunday to you all. Yesterday January 21 we went out and checked ice conditions off of our landing here in Pipe. For the most part conditions are somewhat smooth with a few inches of snow cover . As you can tell in the photo we have a crack at 0.6 tenths out from shore and this runs north and south quite a long ways . Ice thickness ranges from 7.5 - 10" so with the much colder temps next week and hopefully longer, the levels will increase. We suggest using Atv's, Utv's, or snowmobiles to get around at this time please use caution as ice conditions change often . We will continue to update here on how things progress throughout the next couple of weeks leading up to the sturgeon opener. We do have road passes available if you wish to donate and thank you in advance !
