Check cashing is available again at DC’s Express Mart!*
We also buy unwanted and unneeded gift cards and soon we will also be offering bill pay for local utilities (AEP/Water Authorityq, etc.).

*Checks are paid out using an electronic kiosk.
The kiosk pays cash and only takes a few minutes.
There is a 3% fee for cashing checks.
You must have a valid form of photo identification to register for an account with the kiosk and cash checks.
Checks must be written out to the same person whose name is on the photo identification used to create an account.
No personal or handwritten checks can be accepted.
Checks must be for an amount less than $999.99.
If the transaction is denied for any reason the kiosk will return the check to you immediately, and you are free to take it elsewhere to have it processed.

Friends,

If you didn’t already know, Dave and Cindy recently sold the store. As the new owners of DC’s Express Mart, we want to reassure everyone that we have no intentions of completely changing the store that you have grown to know and love over the last several years, but rather our intentions are to make this great store even better.

You will be noticing some changes happening in the coming weeks including some rearranging, some new display racks and counters, and a coffee bar to name a few. Also, in the not-too-distant future we are planning to knock out the wall behind the beer freezer and add on 2,500SF of floor space in which we plan to add a deli complete with a seating area.

We will be getting the lottery back, we PROMISE. Because of the change of ownership we’re having to redo the contract with the state for the lottery but it will be back in store very soon. We do have our cigarette discounts back for Marlboro and we will have the others back soon as well. Also, we will no longer be accepting checks after February 1st and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We understand change can sometimes be hard to process but please believe that you will continue to receive the same friendly service that you always have when you enter the doors at your locally owned DC's Express Mart.

Thanks for continuing to shop at DC’s Express Mart and we look forward to getting to know you all and we hope to see even more of each and every one of you in the weeks, months, and years to come.
