Saturdays at the Shop!
Tomorrow morning for our weekly pop up series, “Saturdays at the Shop,” we’re having our friend Henry from over for some incredible Coffee and Tea creations!

Henry not only grew up in El Sereno, he grew his business and community here as well and we are so excited to continue building with our neighbors and uplifting all the talent, love, craft and passion the 90032 has to offer.

Henry and bring with them a full coffee & espresso bar, capable of both hot and iced drinks, and for the non-coffee drinkers, Henry also offers a selection of seasonal summer brewed iced teas.

Did we forget to mention, .la will also be making a fresh delivery of their wonderful bread that morning as well. Community, Cafecito y Pan, what more could we need!?

SRIRACHA RAFFLE! & El Sereno GreenGrocer Survey
We’re raffling off one of the HOTTEST () and hardest to get condiments in the game right now, a brand new bottle of SRIRACHA HOT SAUCE!

If you haven’t noticed, we’re in the middle of a Sriracha shortage and new bottles are few and far between. Some bottles are even going for over $100 on bidding websites but we’re giving one away for FREE!

All we ask is that you take a moment to fill out our Survey that is linked in our bio! Please fill it out, and be sure to include your name and primary method of contact when it prompts you. This will automatically enter you into our raffle. One entry per person.

The purpose of this survey is to give us deeper understanding of your needs and desires. We ask some basic questions including ones around hours and days of operation, and coffee! Thank you in advance for sharing your input, it will help us continue to refine our offerings and make sure we’re open to serve our community at the best times possible!

By helping us land our regular open hours, we’ll be able to move forward in our EBT application approval process.

We will be accepting survey submissions as raffle entries through Friday, July 28th and will be doing a LIVE drawing on Saturday the 29th during our “Saturdays at the Shop” pop up event.

This Week at the Shop! ✨

This week we will be closed for business both Monday and Tuesday, and will resume our regular hours from 9AM-6PM on Wednesday July 12th✨

🥖 🥦 DELIVERIES
We receive both fresh bread and produce TWICE a week to ensure maximum freshness🤩
la delivers freshly baked bread on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and we’re replenished with fresh fruits, herbs and veggies on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings!

And we can’t forget about everyone’s favorite pastries from , delivered - you guessed it - FRESH BAKED, on Friday mornings 🥐

Tomorrow, July 8th!

Join us for our weekend pop up series “Saturdays at the Shop,” as we feature our lovely neighbors and our amazing vendorfriends ™ , and for a very special, never been done before, ONE OF A KIND COLLABORATION… Affogato & Ice Cream Taco Party!

Affogato’s date back to mid 20th Century Italy and were popularized at the turn of the 21st. It seems simple enough, just two ingredients, a scoop of ice cream and a shot of espresso - but what followed was a flavor blast like no other and we haven’t looked back since! Ice Cream Tacos began as an ice cream truck treat in the 1970s in the U.S., combining the beloved taco with beloved ice cream. The taco shape revolutionized things because instead of a traditional cone with top down layers, folks could get the ice cream, cone, nuts, and chocolate with just about every bite.

is a locally owned and operated Coffee and Pastry pop up that has its roots right here in El Sereno, with specialty drinks named after the very streets it grew up on. They bring with them a FULL espresso bar and drink menu to pair with and ‘s incredible ice cream creations 🤎

Both 626 Ice Cream and Sad Girl Creamery are known for their unique flavors that deliciously blend cultural food staples and the refreshing joy of ice cream

Tomorrow morning! Join us for "Saturdays at the Shop" as we host 'Cafecito de la
Mañana', featuring El Sereno's very own ☕✨

The Homie Henry will be serving up some delicious cafecito concoctions with his FULL espresso bar, including his exclusive - "The Jimmy" - a brown sugar cinnamon based drink with a few dashes of bourbon infused Vanilla🤤

We're so excited to start hosting more "Saturdays at the Shop" and can't wait to share space and community with you all!

BUSINESS HOURS & ACCESS NOTE ⏰ 🦺

Happy Monday folks! Thank you to everyone who made it to our grand opening weekend, including the community wellness day hosted by , and the Juneteenth community discussion and capoeira Roda hosted by just down the road at

EXCITING NEWS! Y’all did the damn thing and bought us out! Our community came out beyond our imagination and we are beyond grateful!!!

Through all of your supportive purchasing, we are in need of a thorough restocking and will be opening this week from Wednesday - Sunday from 9AM - 6PM.

This tiendita is about holistic nourishment and to us that means that in addition to food, drink, and herbal medicines, we also prioritize community connections, relationships, and making time to rest. Closing Monday and Tuesday will give us spaciousness to connect, reflect and re-open Wednesday with fresh energy, ready to welcome you with open arms (and lots of amazing goodies!)

As we are still in our growth and blossoming stage, these hours are subject to change based upon capacity, access, and community feedback. Thank you all for growing along with us!

ACCESS NOTE🦺
Scaffolding has been built in front of the GreenGrocer and hardworking folks are currently putting up stucco walls to cover the antennas above our building, though El Sereno GreenGrocer is open for business during construction!

Scaffolding will be present in front of the shop throughout the week. A safety area will be taped off on the ground for safety measures when entering / exiting the Grocer.
Please be careful when entering / exiting, we’ll be on hand to assist with mobility needs.
