Qualified 6th in time trials
Started 6th in feature and finished 6th.
Car is quicker with new camshaft setup, just ran out of rpms at end of straights. Will put on bigger tires and try again in 2 weeks

Bought a cool tool from freedom racing. Allows ya to change camshafts on ecotec engines without touching the timing chain. Took out the comp 400 cams and installed comp 200 cams and installed new lifters.
Mount up some new tires and we be ready to go race at i75 raceway this Saturday!

Had Dillon Roarks Nissan sentra Se-R spec v in to get a simplified wiring harness made. Also found a couple of engine related performance issues, that he will get sorted out. Look for this car to be running upfront in 2025!

Took the ole girl out and got er dirty yesterday! Start of the 2025 season, ended up with a 7th place finish in a very stout field of fwd's at I-75 raceway winter Championships.
Gonna put the stock camshafts back in, these stage 3 cams are just too much for a stock 2.2. Thinking about making the 4 hour tow to Duck River raceway in a couple weeks for their 2 day winterfest show.

2025 season prep has begun

Copper/orange car - cut up for parts
White car- gonna build a cage for it, depending how it turns out, gonna be new race car or enduro car
New motor
Gonna change transmissions, picked up a 3.63 final drive
Lots of work to do, gonna be busy 3 months

Race recap for November 2nd
Motor issues solved, car ran much better than it did in previous 6 races
Started 4th in heat amd finished 3rd
Started 6th in feature and finished 4th
Good side by side battles in the feature
Looks like the 2024 season will continue as local tracks have been adding races

That's a wrap on the 2024 season! Finished off with a 7th place finished last night at Thundermountain.
We ran 27 events with 23 top 10 and 18 top 5 and 1 win.
Learned alot and appreciate the clean racing down here, the body on the car is straighter now than it was to start the season 🤣
Gonna change to a different transmission and build a motor in the off-season.
Looking forward to 2025

Oct 12 race recap - Thundermountain speedway
Qualified 6th
Started 3rd and finished 3rd in heat race
Started 6rh amd finished 5th in feature
Looks like I have made a bad choice on camshaft selection. Since putting these cams in and getting computer retuned, this car has been off, slower lap times.
And with the track being reconfigured to get everyone off the bottom, this has hurt us as now gives a better advantage to higher horsepower cars.
One race left at thundermoutnain and I think might call it a season after Saturday and focus on getting faster for next season.
