Hey everyone, I’m gonna open up the doors today at 1pm and have a few items for sale if anyone is interested. It’s not a lot but come take a look. I do have a large Costco shelving unit for $150. This thing is solid and no wear and tear. I have a Blackstone that needs some tlc, a cast iron frybread pan, toaster oven, some fans, a few big stainless pots, kitchen utensils, metal milkshake cups, Idahome Tabk Tops, miscellaneous lids for coffee and cold drinks, some holiday decor, 2 open signs, and other miscellaneous decor. 1pm sharp, and don’t mind the mess. Let’s make a deal!

February 3rd, 2020 we opened our doors for business with the intent to make some sort of living and become a part of the Kamiah business community while supporting our youth when we can. I feel like we’ve done just that up to this point, however it’s time to move on from The Hogsback Deli! So with a sense of sadness, we wanted to let you all know that Saturday, November 19th will be our last day in business. 😟 As we all know, the cost of goods have shifted from low to high in a matter of a year or two and as a result of that our prices have shifted as well. For example, in 2020, a case of 12oz styrofoam bowls cost around $30. They are now closer to $90! As a result, this has made it difficult to stay ahead and create an ideal profit margin. Owning and operating any size restaurant is no joke, and I respect anybody that gives it a try. We’ve given this place a pretty good run and hold no regrets for giving it a try. I’ve enjoyed cooking new foods, serving my customers, meeting new friends, and I hope to continue those friendships moving forward. I’ve had customers from Germany, The Ukraine, Mexico, and other exotic places like Lapwai and Kooskia! 🤓 What I’ll miss the most though…are my “regulars”! ❤️ You all know who you are and have helped me keep this place in business over and over again. I appreciate your loyalty to The Hogsback! 😊. There were guys like Fred who will rarely say a complete sentence while he’s here and then there’s guys like Dale who you couldn’t shut up if you wanted to 😆…I’ve enjoyed the company of each and every one of you and am forever grateful for your support! ❤️. Moving forward please show your support to The Hotel Bar and Grill, Roadside Bar and Grill, Annie’s Lunch Box, and of course our friends at Foghill! In one way or another these food/drink spots and business owners have helped us out, so please show them some love on our behalf as we leave a small void in this town.😊 Lastly, my staff have been everything I needed them to be and will gladly give any of them a high recommendation!
If you have taken anything away from The Hogsback Deli, I hope it was a sense of hospitality, kindness and a friendly face mixed with a badass taste in music! 😎🎶 We have been humbled and honored to be a very small part of your lives in this shop. We will still show our support to our community and especially to our youth! Again…THANK YOU!!! ❤️🙌🏾😊😢
