TOMORROW Tues Oct 29th is our annual meeting for elections, and to revel in our hosting of the VTR! Don't miss this event! Come and commiserate with all your fellow members, show pics of progress on your car. Or lament that you can't... 6P to 9P at Dawson's in Speedway. 1464 N. Main St Indianapolis. Say goodbye to our legendary past leadership and thank them for a their good work. So be there or be square!!

Hello, ITC'ers

October continues to give us some outstanding weather for driving our Triumphs.

The last Indianapolis Cars & Coffee event for 2024 is this Saturday, Oct. 26, in Fishers. This is a Trunk or Treat event. Kids (and grandkids) are welcome. Participants are encouraged to have the trunk (boot?) of their car open with candy. At past events, I've seen car trunks decorated with Halloween themes. No. Spare parts, tools, and oil bottles are not considered Halloween decorations.

We're going to meet beginning at 8:00 AM at the McDonalds on 96th Street, just east of I-69. We'll depart at 8:30 for the short drive to the location and park as a group. It's a 5-minute drive from McDonalds to the Cars & Coffee location.

You can come out and join ITC even if your Triumph is off the road. The event is free and it's a good way to get to hang out with other club members. You can stay as long or as short as you like and still make the kid's soccer game.

I'm looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Good day ITCers, here is what is going on next couple of weeks:

Sat Oct 5th Old Cars and Coffee
The Indy OLD Motor Cars & Coffee, put on by ITC’s own Shawn Miller, is meeting at the Circle City Industrial Complex this Saturday, Oct. 5th starting at 8:00 AM. Indy OLD Motor Cars & Coffee is for cars 25 years and older. Every Triumph ever made qualifies, including yours! Even if your beloved Triumph isn't road worthy, come on out and join ITC. There are always some beautiful, and historic, cars at this event. Did I mention coffee and donuts, too?
ITC will meet at 7:15 AM at the Bank of America building on the NW corner of 38th and College with a 7:45 departure time. We’ll then travel south on College Ave to 10th St. We’ll make a left on 10th St. for a few short blocks to Brookside Drive and the CCIC.
The weather forecast for Saturday looks spectacular.

Sat Oct 12th: ITC Annual Falling Leafs Drive. Starting at the Sunoco on St Rd 39 in Lizton. Start time is 10 A. Will need a head count for lunch so let us know!

Sat Oct 19th: ITC Annual picnic will be in Morgan Monroe State Forest at the Cherry Lake Shelter. Central indy folks are planning to caravan. Let Joan Burd at [email protected] know how many will be attending.

Sat Oct 26th: Indianapolis Cars and Coffee 8A to 12P. At the Link at Fishers District 11100 USA Parkway. Fishers, Ind.

Oct 29th: ITC Annual meeting for elections. 6P to 9P Dawson's in Speedway.
Whew! Chew on that guys and girls!

Also, Saturday is Jaguar Concours at new Graham Rahal Facility in Zionsville next to Rahal- Letterman. Show 10 to 2pm. You will be able to walk around the facility. Maybe an opportunity to see if there is a future meeting location.

This is a quick update on our upcoming events:
Sat Oct 12th Falling Leaves drive will begin in Lizton and proceed west. Dennis will be leading the drive. Exact times and meeting place in Lizton will be announced shortly.
Sat Oct 19th. ITC annual picnic will be held at Morgan-Monroe State Forest, just south of Martinsville, on old state rd 37. We will be at the Cherry Lake Shelter. Which is at the end of the main drive thru the park. Fried chicken will be the main course, and all participants are encouraged to bring a covered dish to help out. There will be a silent auction also. We are considering a caravan for those folks in and around the Indy area. More on that to come! Lastly, we will need a head count so let me know soon as possible. This should be a lot of fun as old 37 is a very curvy and hilly 2 laner, as is the drive thru Morgan Monroe! So let us know early and often!

Saturday August 31st. Turkey Run Car Show. Turkey Run St Park. 9-2P. Also, if you're interested, and don't feel like driving all the way to Crawfordsville, there is the alternative:
Lucky Teeter Rebel Run Forest Park Drive, Noblesville In. 9-3P. Sat Aug 31st.

Sat Sept 7th: Old Cars and Coffee 8A to noon at Circle City industrial complex 1400 east 12st, Indpolis.

And lastly unless you have been living under a rock VTR National Convention at Brown County State Park is Sept 8th thru the 12th. ALL members are encouraged to participate and sign up to volunteer, yes, we still need them so please, please make yourself available to help!

This coming Saturday Aug 24th, Indianapolis Indianapolis Cars and Coffee 8A to noon at Meridian Mark I & II, Carmel Ind.Indianapolis.
Next is the Turkey Run Car Show on Aug 31st, turkey Run State Park. 9A to 2P. Great show and a great drive to Turkey Run.
Saturday Sept 7th is Indianapolis Old Cars And Coffee. Circle City Industrial complex 1400 E 12th St., Indpolis. 8A to noon
And again a very pleasant reminder that our National VTR convention is Sept 8th thru the 12th at Brown County State Park. We still need volunteers so if you haven't signed up please do so. We need as many volunteers as we can get. Even if it's just a morning or afternoon. So, see Joe now!

Well its finally here, what we've been waiting for since, well awhile at least.
Saturday Aug 10th IBCU British car show in Zionsville Lyons Park 11053 Sycamore St. All day. So let's make ITC the best British car club in the state and have everybody show up!

Saturday Aug 24th: Indpolis Cars and Coffee Meridian Mark
I & Ii, Carmel 9A to noon!

Lastly another big one on Aug 31st: Turkey Run Car Show, Turkey Run St Park 9A to 2P. If you haven't made this one , we'll you're missing out!

Sunday, July 23rd.

We will meet at the Marathon Gas Station at the corner of SR 67 and Robbs Hill Drive in Centerton, IN. This is on the Southwest corner. Meeting time is 9:00 AM. We will have a briefing and then drive to the railroad site. There we will have a presentation by Pete Pedigo about his model railroad. We will ride on the trains and also have lunch at this location.
Please RSVP to our own Joan Burd. This event is for members and their families only.

If you are not a member, now might be a good time to join so that you can participate in this drive.
