A 3-year-old girl reported missing about 5 p.m. Monday on the Far Eastside was found floating in a pond about an hour later and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Airplane crashes in S. Ind., injuring 2 men

BEDFORD -- An airplane has crashed in a farm field in southern Indiana, injuring two people. Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig says the single-engine aircraft went down just south of Bedford early Sunday afternoon. Bedford is about 65 miles southwest of Indianapolis.

Here is the latest radar sweep from the storm impacting Northern Lawrence County. 1.75" hail (golf ball sized) has been reported near the the Monroe/Lawrence County line near SR 37. Warning is in effect until 2:15 PM and includes Bedford and Oolitic. This storm could also produce 60 mph wind gusts.
