I had to miss spooky season 😭

My apologies as I have been noticeably absent. At the beginning of September, I had an accident involving a steer that left me with a broken left arm and unable to do as much as I normally do.

I am back, healing up and gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas- please let me help make your holidays special ❤️

I was in my high school Algebra II class when I watched the second plane hit the twin towers with an explosion and the world stopped spinning. It was a feeling I had never felt before and have never felt since. I was heartbroken and left with a deep sick feeling in my gut. I mourned for days after and I still mourn the lives we lost every year.

I will say I miss the America in the days, weeks and months after 9/11. There was no democrats or republicans. No one was worried about another persons color or economic status. We were united. We were one. That is the America we should always strive to be.
