Sadly, we will have to close prematurely. I had planned for today to be our final day open, but I’m simply running out of time to get everything moved out. I’ll be in and out of the shop all afternoon today and will be moving everything out tomorrow. I’m going to leave the register until the 30th so if there is anything you want that we still have, feel free to message me and I’ll swing by. I live downtown so it won’t take me long to get there.

Thanks for all of the support over the last year. Hopefully, we’ll get a few laws changed and we’ll try this out again another time. In the meantime, stop by and see us at Summit.

🚨 REMAINING STORE HOURS 🚨
We are shifting hours this week due to some scheduling issues. We will be closed today (5/21) and will be open Wednesday (5/22) and Thursday (5/23). For our final week, we will be open on Tuesday (5/28) and Wednesday (5/29).

Well, I had hoped to avoid this, but we will be closing on May 30th. I had always envisioned a tasting room and bottle shop where customers could purchase glasses of beer or wine. We’ve been working to make that a reality over the last few months as this was supposed to be an integral part of the concept. We effectively received a denial letter this week due to our bathrooms being detached and not within the space itself. We had also hoped that we would be able to participate in PODA after the latest bill was passed, but the way it was written still doesn’t allow us to participate. Retail stores just recently gain the ability to organize beer tastings, but it’s simply a little too late for us. Considering all of this, I feel it’s necessary to close.

I greatly appreciate the support over the last year. I really hoped we would fully realize the concept I had always wanted for the business, but I don’t want to wait around another year hoping legislation comes along to allow us to serve on-premise. I’ll open Apex every Tuesday and Wednesday until the 30th and nearly every beer, wine, and cider will be marked down.

It’s hard to believe, but we’re just a few weeks away from our first anniversary. We have slowly built up our selection of beers from US and international breweries and finally eclipsed 200 different brands. Like our counterpart , we have chosen to only purchase beers from breweries that are independently owned. Whether you’re grabbing a Trappist ale or a bourbon barrel stout, you have the assurance that what you’re purchasing is independently owned.
