Connect Communities has been awarded! 

Connect Communities G**s Mills and the Village of G**s Mills were awarded as finalist in the Community Impact category for the 2024 Community & Economic Development (CEDA) Awards.
The CEDA Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, as part of Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) Fall Best Practices Conference in Eau Claire, WI.
Martha Querin-Schultz, Co-Director of Connect Communities G**s Mills was on hand to accept the award.

Through all the placemaking and economic development efforts by Connect Communities G**s Mills (CCGM) and the Village, G**s Mills is moving into the future. CCGM is a catalyst working for the greater good of the community and helping their small rural village develop a thriving ecosystem that draws more business and industry that leads to attracting more people to live and work there.

The CEDA Awards were established by WEDA to recognize the amazing efforts being undertaken by communities, businesses, and residents to advance Wisconsin’s economy.

About Connect Communities G**s Mills: CCGM is a non-profit, Economic Development Organization. CCGM was formed in 2023 and seeks economic development and revitalization in the G**s Mills area, while building a sense of community.
