Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

We are just a few short weeks to getting the dynamic pricing labels live in the store. I have nearly completed the programming interface between the electronic price tags and the POS. I will provide some examples of the tags here shortly.

The tags will show how many of the allocated items can be sold at the price displayed on the price tag as mentioned. If there are 0 left to sell, as you can imagine no more can be sold by the POS and will prevent the sales associate from ringing it up. This will help provide clarity to what is left when things are on sale or off sale on the tag itself. It will also, help those who may be in the store physically to know exactly what is left at a certain price point.

The quantity remaining will be updated on the tag as soon as a sale has been completed.

As I mentioned earlier, our goal will be to lower prices based on the quantity on hand. That is how we were able to sell the Weller Full Proof Select for under $100 when we had over 180 bottles.

On a good note we received more Stag jr, Elmer T, Hancock, Blantons, Eagle Rare and more.

We should get our annual release shortly after Thanksgiving, so the tags should be live for those new produts.

As you may have noticed we have not posted an updated discount sheet for BT allocated product. We are working on the 3 following things to improve our sales process.
1) We are resetting and adding shelving of the allocated products behind the main counter.
2) We are working on implementing dynamic pricing and quantity stocking at the store using electronic price tags. This will help automate allocated in the Buffalo Trace products. As we have excess inventory the goal would be to lower the pricing to allow more people to purchase them. This has been a manual process.
3) In addition, we are going to roll out a point system that works towards the allocated products as well. This will allow regular shoppers at the store an additional benefit to get better pricing on allocated products over people who don’t earn points purchasing non allocated products.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience last week when we released the first half of the Full Proof Barrel we purchased!! We will be working on a more orderly process for selling the rest of the barrell in the coming weeks!! This is the barrel the bottles were bottled from, which we be in the store this week and we work on to display!! We learned a lot last week from the incredibe the response we received!

We sold out of our the Weller Full Proof at that price. When we have more we will update the page. We sold the target amount of 90 bottles in the first 2 [*] hours of the post. Keep an eye out as we have great prices randomly for all of our allocated items. Follow the page to get updates as we post them.
