"Pulling the key to release the cap makes this my favorite bourbon to open. Must collect all five keys now. Very light nose soft on the tongue but you can feel it on your lips. Mild fruit taste and light finish. Nice sipping bourbon."

“Willett Pot Still Reserve: The fruitier side of the maraschino comes up front, and mixes with dark bitter orange. It reminds me of a cooking orange, or maybe some orange peel with a touch of brown sugar. It’s a bit sweet and a bit bitter all at the same time. A bit of oak and caramel mix in here and make for a pretty tasty pour. I dig the finish. This isn’t the most complex whiskey but it’s balanced, and brings out uncommon notes.”

“Michter’s Small Batch portrays a cinnamon coloring. Pouring it into the glass and giving it a swirl allows the whiskey to coat the sides very thickly. Fast forming and long slender legs appear quickly and give way to medium sized lingering beads. The bottle itself exudes a certain level of rustic sophistication, and brings a level of class to the whiskey shelf.”
