Yes, we are finally on Untappd so you can view our store page and check out what we have in stock (and not just beer, but also for all alcoholic beverages including wine, spirits, Ciders, Meads, and even non alc beers). You can also check out what we have in stock in kegs and some ideas of what kegs we don't normally carry on hand, but are available for special request.
We're still working on our menu lists, which will take time with all the inventory we have here, so please do keep checking our Untappd page as it will continue to grow. There's sections for new items that just arrived at the store, for any rare/limited/specialty items that are hard to find, for staff recommendations on products, for events we'll be doing in the store like tastings and raffles, and for your every day shopping needs.

In the spirit of the football playoffs that have been going on (NCAA College Football Playoff) and the ones that are about to start (NFL - Go Birds!) we decided to have our own playoffs.....
To decide what is the best domestic Light beer we have as determined by you, our customers, in a blind taste test.
We've picked out 8 Light beers, both macro and craft, to go head-to-head against each other in a bracket playoff format. That means we'll have 2 rounds of 4 beers each (kickoff round starts at noon til 2pm on Saturday January 25th, with the follow up round then starting at 4pm til 6pm, the day before the NFL Conference Championship games) where you'll get to sample each one, not knowing which is which, and then rank them from your most favourite down to the one that tickled your fancy the least. We will gather up the results and record the scores for each round. In the opening round, the beers that finish 1st and 2nd will advance to the Championship, so you'll have 4 finalist to sample and rank on Super Bowl Sunday February 9th from 11am to 1pm. The winner will be crowned the Best Light Beer of Joe Canal's Black Horse Pike.
And to make things even more fun and interesting, we will be raffling off some cool merchandise after each round. Your ranking slips will be entered into a raffle and we'll pick winners after each round of tasting.
So make time to be here during the Best Light Beer Super Playoff Championship so you can try some Light beers and enter for a chance to win some cool merch. The perfect event to help you pick out a beer/s to enjoy while watching the games or to take to a viewing party.

While it's not Dry January yet (spoiler alert: look for our High & Dry January display coming soon!), we do realize the need for good, quality non alcoholic products during the holidays and the entire year. For those of you that still enjoy sipping on a nice beverage, but don't want the alcohol kick that comes with it then we have a small handful of new choices for your consideration.
First up is from the German Radeberger Group, with their Clausthaler line of NA beers, which we do well with the Original and Dry Hopped versions. For the holiday season we have their Santa Holiday Brew, which is a blend of their base NA beer with cranberry juice and cinnamon. Should you want to feel festive while staying stone sober then this could be a good selection for you.
A new non alcoholic brewery to our area is Go Brewing. This brewery is drawing interest as their NA beers are scoring very solid and respectable ratings, even compared to regular alcoholic beers. Plus their package and can graphics are pretty wild and cool. We have 4 of their offerings now available for you.
Their take on a fruited sour style, New School Sour: Berry, with blueberry and strawberry, is currently rated 3.75 on Untappd. That's a pretty high score for an NA brew.
Sunbeam Pils is their Pilsner style beer, brewed with German malts and hops. Reviews say it's light and crisp with some malty sweetness.
Their Hazy/Juicy IPA offering is Sunshine State Tropical IPA. Made with mango and peach this one is grading out at 3.67. Reviews state it has nice tropical flavours that blend with a soft hop bite and is pretty smooth and crushable.
Their last brew has a twist to it: in addition to being non alcoholic it's also GLUTEN FREE! Yes, a non alc gluten free beer. Freedom West Coast Pale Ale is crafted without gluten and it's pulling down a very honourable rating of 3.65. Pretty impressive for a combo NA and GF beer.
So there you have it. Some intriguing options for you or someone you know who drinks NA brews. For Dry January. For the holidays. For any time of the year.

Fans of football (futbol) and beer, we have a special treat for you just in time for the holidays. For those of you familiar with the story of Hollywood icons Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying a football club in Wales, that at the time was in the 5th division of English Football and has won consecutive promotions to the 4th tier (League Two) and the 3rd tier (League One) and is currently among the top of the table teams seeking promotion to the 2nd tier English League Championship (one step below the English Premier League), then you know something about Wrexham.
Wrexham is a town in Wales, that was once a flourishing mining town, but as many mining towns have fallen upon struggling times in this day and age, that is no different for Wrexham. Many people rally around their town football clubs to help distract them from hard times for a little while and as a sense of community and coming together. Ryan and Rob, by helping the club to improve and with the notoriety they have given it, have also helped the entirety of the Wrexham community.
We now have Wrexham Lager Beer Company's Wrexham Lager available for you. This beer is based on the original recipe dating back to 1882. The brewery was closed from 2000-2010, but came back with a new facility and equipment to bring this back into the World. And now, probably due to the success of Wrexham AFC on the pitch and in the media, this old school Lager is now available to us.
We are lucky to have it in time for the holidays as our distributor only got a small shipment to start and the bulk won't arrive and be ready to go until after the holiday. So for now this won't be easy to find, but we have it for you!
So whether you're a fan of Wrexham AFC, of Ryan and Rob, or you just enjoy a nice Lager then this is where to stop and shop.

Cheech & Chong?
Man, if they came out with their own THC products that would be really groooovy! And they're like High Teas, man, made from black tea and juice with 10MGs of heavenly THC per can. And the price will like blow your mind.
So you wanna get mellow you need to grab some Cheech & Chong's High Teas. Just remember, though, responsibility is a heavy responsibility, man!

HAPPY FREAKIN' HOLIDAYS, BEER LOVERS !!!!!!!
The festive season has come early to Black Horse Pike as we got an early present of beers from local brewery, Atlantic City's very own The Seed: A Living Beer Project.
Yes, the gifted and good people at The Seed are now sending out canned beers to retail liquor stores and we just got our first order. We have 4 of their beers (in limited supply) for you just in time for the imminent holidays:
Seeds Of The Ocean Pale Lager
Unhurriedly Nitro Pub Ale Bitter
For Warmth Nitro Pub Style Oatmeal Stout
At First Light Coffee Stout with Burundi single origin coffee
For those of you in the area who know of and have had the pleasure of visiting The Seed then you know they brew high quality delicious beers. They aren't the typical brewery pumping out IPAs, fruited Sours, and Pastry Stouts as they brew more traditional and Old World style beers. They do loads of UK, German, and Belgian styles and they nail the representation of what these beers are supposed to be. There's brewers and then there's artisans and The Seed are artisans of their craft. For those of you who haven't been there yet, what in the bloody H, E, double hockey sticks are you waiting for? A great place to visit with a cozy atmosphere and great selection of beers to choose and sample. For fans of Saisons of all styles you'll really appreciate what they offer in this category.
Again, we only got a limited supply of each so best not to procrastinate as once people know these beers are available they won't last long.

Tis the season to be jolly. Jolly good, that is.
From merry old England comes some very unique liquid from family owned and operated (6th generation since 1828) JW Lees & Co. Brewery in the form of their Harvest Ale series of cask conditioned Barleywines.
First up is from the 2021 Vintage, but with a delightful twist, as this brew has been made with yeast from a batch they did back in 1986. Yes, you read that correct. This beer was made with a yeast strain dating back 38 years! This sexy brew clocks in at 10.5% ABV and is currently grading out at 4.34 on Untappd. It has flavours of honey, toffee, raisins, brown sugar, orange marmalade, and caramel.
The next two are very special as each beer is over 20 years old! I've never had a beer over 20 years old before, so very curious about these tempting beauties. Funny, but these beers are of legal age to drink.
Harvest Ale 2002 Vintage is already a limited edition brew made with the first hops of the year and best British malts available. It has a hearty ABV of 11.5% and quite a layered mix of flavours. You'll get raisins, figs, molasses, burnt toffee/caramel, leather, brown sugar, chocolate, a bit of a dry Earthy note, and hints of Port & Sherry. When a hearty beer like this has been aged this long it's rather common for it be be quite complex. Rated 4.25 on Untappd.
Harvest Ale 2001 Vintage, like it's little brother, comes in at 11.5% ABV. This is also a limited edition vintage, so the combination of availability and age makes this a rare bird indeed. It has flavours of molasses, caramel, toffee, figs, raisins, chocolate, and vanilla. This one is grading out at 4.21 on Untappd.
If you're a true enthusiast and aficionado of the Old World styles of beers then these 3 amazing and rare little gems are something you're going to want to get your hands on. They also would make great stocking stuffer gifts for any discerning beer lover as you'll be gifting them an uncommon and exclusive treat.

A little something special for this weekend's Army v Navy college football game from Toms River Brewing:
Boots On The Ground IPA
Liberty Call Vienna-Style Lager
And not just for this weekend's game, but for anyone who enjoys craft beer and for those who have served or are currently serving our country then this could be a choice of interest for you.
Boots On The Ground is a heavily wheated and oated IPA for a lighter fluffy body that allows hop farm Yakima Chief's special Veterans Blend of hops to shine with flavours of tropical fruits and stone fruits.
Liberty Call is true to the Vienna style with a nice malty backbone and notes of toasted bread with floral hops to round out this amber coloured liquid. And it's rating out at 3.90 on Untappd, which is a very solid score for any Lager style.
So whether you're going to be watching the game, doing some yard/house work, working on your holiday shopping, or just taking some time to unwind and relax then here's a couple beers to help you with whatever endeavour you choose to pursue.

It's Black Friday and to most people that means holiday shopping and chasing down deals all over town and the interwebz. But, if you're a beer lover, especially of Barrel Aged Stouts, then Black Friday means just one thing.......
It's Bourbon County Time !!!!!
From Goose Island Beer Co. comes their yearly series Bourbon County Brand Stout, all available in single 16.9oz bottles. We have the flagship beer plus two variants for your consideration.
Bourbon County Brand Original Stout 2024 has been aged for an average of one year in freshly emptied Bourbon barrels from Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Heaven Hill, and Wild Turkey distilleries. It has an ABV of 14.7% and is currently pulling down a 4.34 on Untappd.
Bourbon County Brand Macaroon Stout 2024 has been aged one year in Bourbon barrels then the addition of cocoa nibs, sweet candied ginger, and toasted coconut help turn this brew into a decadent liquid coconut macaroon. This bad boy has an ABV of 14.6% and a 4.25 rating on Untappd.
Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Rye Stout is a take on a similar variant they release a decade ago. They aged this rye Imperial Stout in just emptied Rye Whiskey barrels for a full year and then condition it on Madagascar vanilla beans. This one is the baby of the batch with an ABV of 14.0%, but this ambitious child is grading out the highest at 4.45.
So there you have it, lovers of Barrel Aged Stouts. Your yearly treasure of Bourbon County brews is now available for you to purchase as long as you don't wait too long since there is a limited supply.

My brainchild that Axe and Arrow Brewing was most gracious enough to brew and that we sold very well last year is back !!!!!
Just Like Grandma's Apple Pie Ale
In lieu of all the Pumpkin beers that are made every Autumn season I came up with an idea for something different while still staying in the theme of the season: a baked apple pie beer. I mentioned this vision to my rep and he in turn shared it with the staff and owners at the brewery, they liked the concept so they ran with and brewed the beer.
They nailed the flavours on this as they do with any of their pastry/fruit brews and this beer is like drinking a slice of apple pie. A great dessert beer that just might make you feel all nostalgic for your granny's homemade apple pie.
Limited quantity this year so best to come get yours before it's gone until 2025.

Here's something different. An Ice Cider.
Domaine Etienne Dupont in Normandie, France (a region well known for their apples and Ciders) offers us Cidre de Givre. They take their Cidre Bouche Brut and freeze it then remove the water. The result is a rich liquid that drinks like a Sherry. This special treat would be good to pair with food like spicy and tangy dishes as well as to pair to desserts. Or just sip from a snifter like a fine after dinner drink. It has a little punch, too, at 6.9% ABV.
So if you're either in the mood for something different or you just want to treat yourself to something to savour then this would be a good option for your consideration.

Please welcome to our store, Icarus Brewing Co., now based in Brick, NJ.
Many of you already know the name and have inquired about their beers in the past, well, now we have finally have some to share with you.
Witty Fool is a 5.4% ABV Belgian-style Witbier. It's brew with wheat and oats then finished on orange peel and coriander.
Tmavy Pivo is a Czech Dark Lager with a 4.9% ABV. Brewed with Munich malts and de-bittered Black malts and hopped with the traditional Czech Saaz hop, it is then lagered for an extended period. It's currently scoring a 4.00 on Untappd, which is very respectable for any Lager style. This would make a nice sipper on a cold Wintry night with flavours of roasty malts, baked brown/black bread and biscuits, chocolate with hints of coffee.
Eastern Horizons is a Baltic Porter clocking in at 8.7% ABV and brewed in collaboration with Abomination Brewing Company. It's brewed with the addition of Chocolate malts to make for a rich beer with layers of chocolatey flavours rounded out by subtle coffee roast. 4.05 on Untappd.
Yacht All The Time is a 6.5% ABV New England style IPA. Hopped with Lupulin Citra, Lupulin Mosaic, and Columbus this is meant to be a go-to beer for when you just want something with flavour that's not too strong. Untappd rating of 3.96.
Drinking Crayons is one of their most known beers that's been sought out and asked about for quite a while. This 7.9% ABV Double New England style IPA is brewed with loads of wheat and oats. It's first hopped with Amarillo, Columbus, and El Dorado then dry hopped with Amarillo, Azzaca, Columbus, and Lupulin Mosaic. You'll get a cornucopia of flavours like citrus, tropical fruits, stone fruits, melon, and rounded with some dank pine. Over 16K reviews with a 4.11 rating.
That's a nice little selection of different styles of beers for you to check out.

Mead's the season.......to be a freaking Viking!
Mother Nature has suddenly turned on us and it's like a Winter night out there at the moment. Biting chill and an icy dampness on the winds. Brrrrrrr. Good night to crack open a nice bottle of Mead. Something rich, something sweet, and something with a bit of warmth. Good for the body and the soul.
We just got in FIVE new Meads to let you know about, bringing our total selection to nearly TWO DOZEN different offerings for you to choose from. For now we'll just tell you about these most recent additions.
Moonlight Meadery has 3 new flavours in house for your consideration, all in 375ml bottles.
Desire is infused with blueberries, black cherries, and black currants. It pairs well with desserts, cheeses, and rich saucy meats. Currently has a 3.99 Untappd rating.
Kurt's Apple Pie is made with Vietnamese cinnamon and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans. Like a rich liquid slice of apple pie. Dessert in a glass. Rated 3.87 on Untappd.
Wicked is a blend of spice from ginger and sweet from Bourbon vanilla beans. A great choice for an after dinner aperitif to sip and savour. Or to just get under a big blanket and kick back while relaxing. Rated 3.89 on Untappd.
We have a second offering from South Africa's Makana Meadery, Honey Sun iQhilika Cape White Fig Mead in 750ml bottle. This Mead is made with figs from Cape Fig trees that were spread throughout South Africa by colonists back to the 1600s! Has a 3.95 Untappd rating with a high number of reviews.
Our last entrant is a unique Mead from Italy. Dottor Pescia Nettare di Bacco Mead is made from select honey then stored in new oak barrels for one year before bottling and still continues to ferment a bit in the bottle. Never had a Mead like this before. Tasting notes:
Drinks more like a good Tawny Port. Flavours of candied nuts like walnuts and cashews, thin flaky pastry, dark fruit cake, and honey sweetness. Tiny little hint of anise at the very end.
Currently scoring a 4.27 on Untappd.

Let's hear from the Lager lovers in the area!
If you enjoy the Old World style of a good German style brew then you need to come grab some of Schenker Beer Company's offerings.
We finally got their outstanding Hellbier Helles Lager back in stock for the first time since May of 2023. Been waiting for this one to return and this time we got a good amount to go around. This is probably the best Lager I can remember having. Just a clean, easy drinking, and tasty beer to savour. Here's tasting notes on it:
Outstanding balance of crisp cracker and cereal grain malt backbone with floral, grassy, and mineral hops.
Seriously, if you really enjoy a good Lager then you'll be quite pleased with this one.

Here's some more THC products to let you know about.
First, from Smoking Dog, we have their brand spanking new 25MG Delta 9 per can THC Seltzer, Orange Cream Puff. For those of you who have tried their Lemonades and concentrated syrups then you know they get the flavours right and this one is no exception. Nice soft sweet orange with a little splash of vanilla that pleases the palate and gives you a nice lingering mellow feeling.
Our other addition is from a new company to our area, Coastalo, and they have a seasonal THC option for you to try, Christmas Cookie. This holiday treat has 10MGs of Delta 9 THC per can to help keep you feeling festive over this holiday season, which can be stressful at times, so why not pick up a little something to help take that edge off.
