Then came war, and the vineyard was abandoned. Years later, the vintner returned to his land and found a new vine. He tasted the grapes and fell in love. It was Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cabernet Franc is a significant grape in viticulture, but it's often overshadowed by Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc Day is a day to appreciate the unique character of this grape and the wines it produces. This black grape is native to the Bordeaux region of France, where it's often blended with other grapes. Cabernet Franc can also be made into a single-varietal wine with flavors of bell pepper, raspberry, black cherry, and chili pepper.

This sip is a must-try St. Patrick’s twist on the classic whiskey cocktail. Made with fresh ingredients and bright flavors, we’re positive it will shamrock your world. So, add some green to your glass and celebrate! Clover Whiskey Fizz 🍀 • 2 oz. Irish Whiskey • 1⁄2 oz. Simple Syrup • Splash of Lime Juice • 8 Fresh Mint Leaves • Sparkling Wine or Ginger Ale • Crushed Ice Place mint leaves, splash of lime juice, and simple syrup in cocktail shaker. Gently muddle. Pour Irish Whiskey into cocktail shaker and top with ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass and add crushed ice. Top with sparkling wine or ginger ale. Garnish with mint leaves and lime wedge. Enjoy!
