what an evening! thank you to everyone who joined us for the SUPER informative wine seminar given by herself. Deirdre’s knowledge is extensive and we feel lucky to have had the opportunity to host an educational tasting and learn so much about hybrid grapes and Vermont winemaking. it’s fascinating to learn about the land and farming. thank you Deirdre and Caleb, it is truly amazing what you are doing in Vermont 💥

AND to top it off, Deirdre and Caleb brought a super cool winery owner from South Africa with them. Adi of shared some beautiful wines with us from his winery including a Sherry. it was such a treat to try new varietals, thank you Adi!

and thank you Katja of for being the incredible hostess that you are AND a HUGE thank you for sharing the amazing bottle of La Garagista’s lost causes & desperate cases. what a treat!! you are the best 💕

“We grow alpine wine, but also ciders and cofermentations, an ancient practice that encourages vibrant conversations between our orchards and vineyards. The lands for which we care have been part of small homestead farming for over two hundred years. We practice a whole-farm and diverse agriculture focused on the marriage between soil, plant, and sky where we are not only growing wine, but also vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs for ourselves and our tiny kitchen and for our pop-up bottle shop and wine bar Forêt Caviste.” -

“walk down through the arborvitae and then rose arbor, by the pond on the right and you’ll see vineyard down below” -la garagista

it sounded like the beginning of a fairytale and the entire day ended up feeling like one. we spent the day harvesting grapes with AND at an absolutely stunning property in Bridgewater. we were lucky enough to meet the lovely owner of the property who planted the grapes back in 2010. Ironically, Deirdre’s first harvest was in 2010 which is also the same year Meditrina opened. what a fun connection!

thank you Deirdre and Caleb for including us this afternoon. so many great conversations as we worked our way down the vines. 🍇

what a magical afternoon yesterday at that ended with an intimate lunch al fresco with some pretty amazing people. we had the opportunity to introduce Jason Haas of to Deirdre and her talented team as we enjoyed a pop-up tasting, tour of the farm and lunch prepared by . we shared the table with a fun québécois winery, Domaine de la Bauge and tasted some of their natural wines along with some gems that Jason brought from his cellar. lucky us!

for those of you in the area THIS Wednesday (8/7), we will be hosting a free TABLAS CREEK tasting with Jason at the shop from 4:30-6:30pm. we will be tasting some of his small production single vineyard varietals from his winery in Paso Robles… we are so excited for this tasting! 🍷

Jason Haas, second generation proprietor of will be back in the shop for our annual wine tasting on Wednesday, August 7th and we cannot wait!

Tablas Creek is certified organic, dry farmed and uses biodynamic practices including a mobile herd of sheep, alpacas and guard donkeys that graze the vineyard.

it has been such a treat to taste wines with Jason over the years. he is a wealth of knowledge and continues to craft absolutely gorgeous Rhône varietal wines out of California. i am super excited to have him back in the shop!🍷

back in May of 2017, mother/daughter duo Valeria and Serena Costanzo stopped by the shop with Katja of and tasted us on their absolutely delicious wines from Sicily. we recently tasted the new vintages and they are so damn good. i love these wines! we will be featuring their Mofete Bianco and Rosso this Friday (7/26) at our FREE in•store wine tasting. Katja will be in the shop to taste us through these incredible wines.

we tasted this Slovenian beauty on Friday at our in•store tasting and it was dynamite! without a doubt one of our new summertime favorites.💥 Dorcha Rosé Pet Nat has a beautiful guava pink color with loads of red berry fruits and a mineral finish. “this wine is effortlessly drinkable”… and we couldn’t agree more.

Jordan Kivelstadt of Kivelstadt Cellars stopped by the shop this afternoon and tasted us on his absolutely DELICIOUS wines from California 💥 Jordan not only makes killer wines, he has a magnetic personality and is incredibly knowledgeable about the winemaking process. PLUS he owns an outdoor wine garden and a super cool wine touring travel company check him out!

Tate, Sara, Kenzie and I visited Taylor Farm for a tour of their farm and we also learned all about their cheese making process. so much has changed. Tate and Sara have since moved to Maine and my daughter graduated from college last year 😳
