Meet Bobby!

Hailing from Seattle, WA, Bobby has quickly become a beloved member of the Hobbyist team. An incredibly gifted barista with an innate passion for flavor, creativity, and community, Bobby brings something truly special to our space.

In just a short time, he’s made his mark as a Hobbyist staple, crafting many of your favorite seasonal lattes—like the unforgettable Brown Butter Sage Latte. Bobby’s ability to transform simple ingredients into something extraordinary is a testament to his artistry and dedication.

Beyond his talent behind the bar, Bobby is a national treasure and a good friend to us all. His energy and warmth make every day brighter, and we’re so lucky to have him as part of the Hobbyist family!

Our hearts are broken for our friends up in the mountains of Western North Carolina. So many have lost their loved ones, homes, possessions, businesses and more. The state will be in a long rebuilding phase and each day brings new challenges and needs.

We are coordinating with some contacts higher up in the mountains to identify current needs and locations to streamline provisions drop offs this week and will plan to make a large drop near Hickory at the end of the week!

If you are looking for somewhere to donate, please feel free to dop off any of these items at The Hobbyist by Friday and we will coordinate delivery! We will have a table set up in the back, so feel free to drop off any time.

Based on the information we received this morning, the following are the some of the most pressing supplies needed at the moment:

-Batteries and Flashlights
-Diapers / Baby Wipes
-Canned Goods (All are fine, but items that don’t require a can opener would be best)
-Baby Food
