🍷2021 Sean Minor Pinot Noir : Sourced from sustainable California vineyards, this beautiful PN has aromas of plum, violets and cocoa powder with primary flavors of strawberry and dark cherry, earthy floral notes and finishing with a touch of cedar allowing for a silky finish that lingers ever so lightly. Pair this with just about anything off of the grill or just sip and enjoy on a patio day! $26.59

🍷2021 Ancient Peaks Cabernet Sauvignon: Sourced from Paso Robles region of California, only 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean, lending itself to having been harvested from FIVE soil types. You'll get a lot of dark summer berry notes accompanied by currant and cocoa. This Cab Sauv is perfectly tannic and pairs well with grilled pork chops, lamb or a delicate filet mignon. $31.65

🇵🇹 NV Broadbent Vinho Verde: A summer favorite, but great all year round. This off-dry white wine from Portugal has the slightest bit of effervescence. A blend of 50% Loureiro, 40% Trajadura, 10% Pedernã, it is the most popular white wine from Portugal having flacors of crisp green apple, bright acidity. We like to pair this with any fish, hot weather, salads and/or good company. $20.99

👍🏻that we do personal orders? That's right. This is part of what makes us a boutique retail wine shop; if you aren't finding what you're looking for in our shop, we are happy to try and source it JUST for you...while doing what we can to work within your budget.

👥We are currently working with 4 guests on fulfilling orders specifically for them, and we can't wait to add to that list.

🩷We're a small store, by choice, leaving an open concept floor plan to allow for your fur babies and your babies in strollers to comfortably come and shop with you (and us!), while also allowing us the ability to host small, private events with a more intimate feel (more details on that coming later).

👂🏻We also wanted to say that we have heard those asking about a Chablis (we didn't forget or brush it off, we wanted to source the right one), and we've got one on order and will have it on the shelf when we open Thursday!

Thank you all for coming out to WV Fest today!

We saw some familiar faces who have been by numerous times since we opened a month ago, and were overwhelmed with the amount of new faces excitedly walking in empty handed and out with wine boxes in hand.

We are excited to be able to personally shop for a few new guests who were in looking for very specific, hard to find wines/varietals—thank you for that opportunity!

2 new NA drinks arrived today, along with some great summer ciders, lots of new beer and some new cheese.

If you’re shopping sweet wines we have the new Easy Peezy Lemon Squeazy by Kirkwood—it’s their new flavor; strawberry rhubarb is finally back on the shelf too, just in time for WV Fest!

June is being dedicated to Margaret’s Saving Grace Bully Rescue and we will have samplings tomorrow starting at 2pm (sampling 2 Kirkwood wines in the spirit of WV Fest)

🥳FUN FACT FRIDAY!!!!

🇫🇷 once had a co***ne wine; the concoction was made from mixing six milligrams of coca leaves for each ounce of Bordeaux wine. Two to three glasses a day was the suggested intake for adults, but for kids it was only one to two.

The drink was pretty popular, stretching from Paris to London and even over the waters into The Big Apple. Presidents William McKinley and Ulysses S. Grant, Queen Victoria of England, actress Sarah Bernhardt and even the Pope Leo XIII were big fans, but the drink became illegal, of course, in the early 1900's.
