Kris here. Happy Friday! Thought I’d give a personal check-in. I know this photo of me isn’t the greatest but it’s real and I haven’t been feeling the greatest.

I recently hit the six month mark on prednisone. It’s a complicated story involving Anthem Insurance. 🤡 The good news is that I was able to return to a previous rheumatologist of many years this past week. The nurse even gave me a big hug when she saw me. 🥰 A steroids end date is in sight.

I’ve been working on stuff for the 2024-25 school year with my “day job.” I always think summer will be super chill, and it never is. When will I learn?? I’m often asked how I do both (work as an instructional coach and co-run a business). The answer is some days better than others and some days failing.

There have been afternoons lately where an ice cold glass of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay has been calling my name. I’ve been choosing dog walks, magazines, and trips to CVS for makeup over alcohol. I never regret it later. Tonight I can’t wait to start the new book.

Today I’ll be at our WestClay shop 1-3 and our East Main Street Shop 3:30-7. I’d be happy to talk autoimmune journeys, the state of public education, or alcohol-free wine options with any of you. Though what I’d really like to talk about is the finale of Season 3 of . That show has brought me so much joy. is a queen!! 👸🏼

Local artist Sarah Gardner will facilitate a 30-minute sound bath event at our East Main Street store on Tuesday, June 11, at 7pm.

A sound bath is a passive, immersive sensory experience that uses sound and vibration to calm the nervous system. The event is free, but registration is required. Please bring a yoga mat! Arrive earlier to enjoy some Drømme to enhance the experience.
