The cafe con leche from locally-owned 5 Brothers is a "must try"! A medium with 2 sugars is perfection.

They are located at the corner of Grinnell and Southard... Slightly off the beaten path, but worth the walk! Save this address!

Their breakfast sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches and fried chicken sandwiches are delicious, too!

In 1983 it was time for me to leave party town, USA Key West, Florida, it was a hell of an exciting seven years. I finally made it back in 1989 when my grandfather the captain became mayor of Key West, thanks to Jimmy Buffett‘s help, happy days were here again for me. I remember returning to Mallory Square to take some photos. There was this guy there with these trained cats. jumping through hoops at Sunset of course I attempted to freeze the moment with my camera, which I did. I actually started a Key West tile company that year putting my old photographs on these tiles from Italy, I was selling them through Kennedy Studios, and a couple other locations. This was one of the images that was selling, everybody liked the cat show and this image I took that was pretty much 35 years ago, last time I was in Key West. I was at Publix getting some groceries for my dad. He’s 88 years old these days. Still running around Key West for the last 50 years. Anyway, I finally got to talk to the famous Catman guy He knew about this photograph that has been on the tiles and posted on some of my websites, I told him it’s one of the photographs in my book “Key West the way it was” now flying on Amazon, and available in hardcover, paperback e-book and Kendall, it’s a great history book on my adventures and my families on that island as far back as the late 40s definitely check it out
