SCCAS will be sponsoring a loan program for (2) individuals interested in the upcoming EMT course through Independence Health System - Clarion. The course will begin September 10, 2024 and run through February of 2025. This course will be a traditional classroom setting, held at PennWest Clarion Campus. Classes will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If you are interested, please email a letter of interest to Fred Vasbinder, SCCAS Director Of Operations @ [email protected].

*The deadline for letter of interest will be August 15th, 2024.

*Applicants will be notified by August 20, 2024 if they will be awarded the loan.

*Individuals must be 18 y/o upon completion of the course to qualify.

*Following completion of the course and required testing, you will be required to work at SCCAS for one year at 36 hours or more a week.

*If you drop or fail out of the class you will have 3 months to fully reimburse SCCAS the amount of the loan.

*Upon successful completion of the class, certification, and working at SCCAS for one year, individuals WILL NOT be required to repay SCCAS for this loan.
