2022 Immich-Batterieberg ‘CAI’ :: 100% Riesling

The Immich family history in the Mosel dates back to the Middle Ages, when Prince Von Esch possessed the 12th century building. So yea, there’s some history and they know what they’re doing. It’s dry, fresh, high acidity, like a fresh squeezed lemon bomb.

2024 Reeve ‘Remy Saves the Sea’ :: 100% Carignan

The Carignan comes from a vineyard in Mendocino County and the vines are 80 years old x grown on red clay soils. Hand picked and gently pressed whole cluster into tank. This baby is fresh, ripe raspberry, touch of peach, and kiss of orange zest with sea spray.

This a joint project between Reeve and his daughter, Remy to promote ocean conservation. The goal is to raise money and awareness for issues surrounding the health of oceans. Pretty flippin cool.

Coming from Dimane, Qannboubine Valley, Lebanon. 150 year old vines, dry farmed at 1600m altitude. Skin fermented for 3 weeks. Native yeast, natural ambient cold settling, no fining, no filtering.

2023 ‘Crane Mesa’ Pinot Gris from the one and only

100% skin-fermented Pinot Gris with varying amounts of whole-cluster per batch. Aged in barrel for 6 months and then blended into stainless steel.

We talkin orange peel, jasmine tea, juicy peaches, bright acidity, and balanced tannins. The skin contact wine of your dreams.

Kinda been a bit obsessed with Les Maisons Brûlées lately and for good reason because they make exceptionally beautiful wines.

2022 ‘R2L’O’ - 35% Pinot Noir, 20% Pineau d’Aunis, & 45% Gamay

Macerated in whole clusters for about 10 days and aged in a mix of foudres. This wine is light and lean, silky, balanced acidity, crunchy red fruit with a touch of spice. She’s quite lovely.

2023 Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley, Oregon.

People like to talk trash on chard, but we are here to set the record straight. Chardonnay rips when done right and this one is serving.

Fossil & Fawn work with old vine, Chardonnay that retains downright nervy acidity even though barrel aging is done in combination of older French oak and newer Oregon oak.

It’s rich, like fresh brioche topped with honeycomb, preserved lemon, and toasted coconut. Dare I say the white burg of the west? Yea, I said it.

2020 Iruai ‘Giallo’ :: Nebbiolo - CA AVA

Giallo refers to the hyper stylized, pulpy horror films that came out of Italy in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. This is wine is made from Nebbiolo grown at 3,000 ft and aged for 90 days on the skins.
