Look at this cutie from ! This wine is exactly the style that I gravitate towards and it’s an excellent example of red wine from the Languedoc.

2022 ‘Laguzelle’ :: Cinsault, Syrah, & Carignan

All grapes are hand harvested and follow the biodynamic approach. Few days of cold maceration, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast, unfined, unfiltered, and aged 6 months in stainless.

NEW NEW vintage just dropped at the shop from ! Let’s give a warm welcome to :

2023 ‘Rosa’ :: Dolcetto & Sangiovese

A blend of Sangiovese from Three Mile Vineyard in the Dalles and Dolcetto from Allegre Vineyard in the middle of the Hood River Valley. The Sangiovese was left on the skins for three days. He pressed the Dolcetto after just 48 hours on the skins over the Moscato skins that were already in the press.

The color is dark, vibrant, bloody, and tastes like ripe wild strawberries, with a kiss of a cranberry tart.

Happy New Years, kiddos! I can’t thank you all enough for supporting Persona. Ya’ll are the absolute best, truly. Never could have imagined that my little bottle shop would have given me such a bad ass community that fills me with such joy. LOVE YOU ALL

Now, we are open today from 12-7 and poppin some bubs for the people. We are CLOSED 1/1 - 1/3 so that I can spend time with my fam. Re open 1/4 with special guest and 1/5 with OG .

Sick of my Chenin posts yet? Well, tough. I’m not even close to done yet 😎

Domaine Le Facteur ‘Vouvray Extra Brut’ NV is a true bad boy. 100% Chenin Blanc, hand harvested from clay/limestone. Grapes are direct pressed and spontaneously ferment in neutral barrel. Racked to barrique élevage prior to bottling with grape must to kick start secondary fermentation. Disgorged, unfined, coarsely filtered, minimal SO2

Crispy, vibrant, lively acidity, pear, citrus. This is your holiday banger

‘Babinou II’ VDF 2023 is a blend of Muscat, Chardonnay, Trousseau, Gamay, and Chenin. It’s like sipping a grape flavored Twizzler (so cool), notes of citrus and cherries, but with cranberry like acidity. Step outside of your comfort zone and give this lil doozy a try.
