Going to be a great time

Thursday night, Hopleaf will be hosting a lambic tasting event that will feature glass pours of Drie Fonteinen lambics from the extraordinary collection of 750ml bottles in our cellars. Drie Fonteinen's Christian Gregory and Hopleaf's Michael Roper will be on hand to pour and tell the story of this unique lambic brewery that with the passing of its longtime brewer/owner Armand Debelder last year, is in the midst of a generational change. Not to worry, Drie Fonteinen is in good hands. Armand made sure of that. Most or all of the bottles we'll be popping open Thursday were created by Armand as he mentored the next generation of lambic makers at this iconic brewery.
