The Blue Store (DBA Triplet's Foodmart)

The building was painted Light Blue and Yellow, which originally was the theme color to Jaguar Nation's Southern University Jaguar. We were apart of the community. The store came with a tiny kitchen with only two fryers. We never knew how to fry chicken then. The former store owner taught us how to cook and run the business. But we quickly learned why that is. The food wasn't that great. We had to

make changes to the spices, the ingredients, and we even changed our cooking process. After we changed the recipe, we became popular. Our mother repainted the entire store blue. She did not know about the Jaguar's themed colors. Nobody knew what Triplet's Foodmart was about. So our customers started calling it "The Blue Store." Out of convenience, the customers gave us a name. It stuck with us all these years. We are now known for our famous fried chicken.
