A little winter hibernation the last two days to stay safe and enjoy BRs biggest snowfall in 121 years ain't bad. But we're itchin' to get back makin' groceries again in Mid-City. We'll see y'all at 12p, when hopefully most of the roads around town are safe and passable.

Keep stayin' safe and warm though -- and now that we're back -- reminder that today is a great day to refresh the sitch at home or in the break room at work before the weekend hits!

Welp...after the most snow we've seen in BR since 1894 today (!!!), and temps down to 7⁰ tonight, we expect the roads, sidewalks, bridges, etc. to be ice sheets tomorrow. So, for the safety of our staff at Calandro's, we will be closed yet again on Wednesday, 1/22/2025. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope everybody understands, and for all except emergencies, please try and stay off the roads and safe at home enjoying one more day of the snow left over from .

Thanks for rolling with mother nature's punches along with us and hopefully we'll see y'all back in store in Mid-City some time on Thurs. when it's safe to venture out again...

Calandro's will be closed tomorrow (1/21/25) and will open again Wednesday or after as soon as conditions allow for the safety of our staff and customers to make it back to the store. So grab essentials -- may we suggest hot chocolate, marshmallows, and firewood 😉 -- today, before the storm hits.
