Die Domaine Jean Marc Bouley ist sicher eines der interessantesten Weingüter an der Côte de Beaune. Dabei gehörte es lange zu den durchaus beachteten, aber noch nicht wirklich gefeierten Weingütern in Volnay. Jean-Marc Bouley hatte es auf einen guten Stand gebracht, verharrte dort aber in gewisser Weise, bis sein Sohn Thomas 2002 dazustieß. Er hatte in Beaune studiert und dann eine Zeit in Neuseeland und Oregon verbracht, bis er nach Hause zurückkehrte und schnell auch die Leitung übernahm.
