To all brothers in crafts!
We are the first mobile canning company in Ukraine, known as “YES, WE CAN!”, or “SPROBUI!”. And right now we need your help.
As you know, right now our country is under an insane attack by the Kremlin midget, together with 146 mln of his pathetic cowards and war criminals.
Same as a lot of you before me, I used to work in big business, but was fascinated by the craft beer world and its values:
- being proud of your independence;
- being authentic and original, opposing to faceless and dull corporate;
- being a community more then a bunch of competitors;
- being a part of a diverse global community, different AF, but united by the same values.
So, I purchased a Wild Goose canning machine, a truck, hired some wonderful people, and we started.
During these three years we really were trying to make change. I personally invested into the development of my people - gave them the additional education and training they needed, to the development of my country - paid every single penny of tax without hiding any of it (which I could have easily done being a corporate lawyer in my past life). And we invested a lot into our craft community - we gave everyone the best conditions they could have ever got. worked even with the smallest breweries, that make 2-5 tons of product per month, just to give them a kick-start, even if it meant no sense to us financially.
And now, my country, and all of our community is giving a fight to the invaders, that want to steal all these values, that i listed above, from us:
they want our independence;
they want to destroy our national identity and culture, urging us to become again a faceless mass of post-soviet zombies;
want to destroy our independent market replacing us with their state- or kleptocratic oligarch owned companies;
and want to cut us from you, the world, put us back behind the iron curtain.
This is why some of my employees are right now on the front line, or in territorial defense, giving hell to invaders. Others are hiding their families in bomb shelters, waiting for their turn to step up.
I am really proud that I have received a lot of requests “How can we help you?” from our brothers in crafts from all over the world.
This is why I wrote this post. Here is how you can help:
Spread the information. Everyone should know what is going on.
Make Russian and Belarusians a pariah in the craft community. Do not make yourself dirty by any form of cooperation with them. They either directly support what is going on, or they stick their heads between their legs, helping their dictator by their cowardly silence.
Donate to help Ukrainian Armed Forces, or to any organization providing humanitarian aid to us. I would make a link to the guide in the first comment below;
Buy Ukrainian war bonds. If you are an investor - ask your broker how to do that;
And lastly I have to also ask you to give some financial support to us. I have 6 active employees and one on maternity leave. Most of them are young guys with no savings whatsoever. Our partners - the breweries owe us around 30k USD as of now, but we would not address them - most of them are right now either in the occupation zone, or in the zone of heavy combat. Our canning line was also left on the site of our most important client, which is located close to Kyiv, right where the fight is right now. I swear that every cent we would receive from you would be directed to my employees as aid. And we would publish a report so you would see that we stood to our word.
