Our exclusive walking cane, Mountains, is making a comeback! 🚶‍♂️

It has been unavailable for almost a year because our craftsman, Ivan, who crafted this walking cane, is currently fulfilling his national duty at the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We're eagerly awaiting his return to our team. In the meantime, we got many requests to craft this cane, so we rolled up our sleeves and made a few Mountains handles by ourselves.

It's quite a tough process: we carve a wooden blank, sculpt lifelike mountains 🏔, and add a brown tint for realism. A protective layer of varnish is applied to the mountains before pouring epoxy onto the workpiece. Once poured, we meticulously mill, grind, and polish the handle to its final shape, completing the process.

So, we're opening up orders for Mountains cane for our wonderful community. Seven wood colors and custom lengths are available.

We have just completed an absolutely custom Fox 🦊 cane design and would like to share this project with you.

Upon receiving this specific request, accompanied by a detailed sketch, we couldn't resist the opportunity to bring this project to life. Drawing on our expertise in wolf 🐺 handle carving, we initiated the process by carefully crafting the intricate details of the fox 🦊 head. Precision was key; every curve and contour mattered to bring out the essence of our charming foxy friend.

Next, our skilled artist took over, armed with brushes and a palette 🖌️🎨. Meticulously, he hand-painted the fox head, aiming to bring it to life with realism and charm. Stroke by stroke, color by color, until the fox looked like it could hop right out of the cane.

Looks like all is ready, but wait, there's more! On one side of the cane handle, we etched cunning claw marks, adding a touch of wild spirit. 🐾 On the flip side, we proudly engraved the Volpe family name.

And now, here's where it gets heartwarming – on the fox's neck rests the painted symbol of her family. It should be an amazing feeling carrying your family legacy in the palm of your hand! 🛡️

Should we share this unique creation with the world and allow it to be purchased by everyone? Of course, without the family symbol and the custom engraving.

One year ago, I was at home sculpting a new cane handle design out of plasticine. My idea was clear: to create an ergonomic handle that could offer the highest level of comfort. 🤔

In those days, Ukraine experienced temporary blackouts due to rocket attacks on civil infrastructure. I used a gasoline generator for power and relied on Starlink for internet connection. Cooking meals for the children became an adventure using a camping stove. ⚡🛢️🔥

Today, wails of sirens still warn us of rockets in the sky, but thanks to the MIM-104 Patriot and other air defense systems from the US and our allies, we were fortunate to have both light and internet. 🚀💡🌐

Designed during challenging times, our new cane, featuring an ergonomic handle, has been named Vesper. Inspired by the evening star, it symbolizes hope, casting light into the darkness. 🌟😌

This cane has become our second bestseller within the year, and it's the first cane design we've started stocking in Amazon warehouses in a variety of lengths, from 32" to 39". We've been thinking of creating a walking cane with a round (hook) handle for a long time, but we didn't want to settle for the ordinary. 🌟 What began as a desire to elevate a traditional hook walking cane quickly evolved into something more.

On the occasion of American Heritage Day, I'd like to share a few interesting insights about the Hutsuls, the indigenous people of the Carpathian region in Ukraine, where we live. If you look closely, you'll find some interesting things they share with Native Americans.

📸 I have added several archival photos, all of which were taken in the Ukrainian Carpathians, as well as color photos taken recently. As you can see, the unique attributes of the Hutsuls were a to***co pipe (Fayka) and a small axe cane (Bartka), which they used for skirmishes, protection against wild animals, and as walking assistance in mountain landscapes. Sometimes I think of making a Bartka; It'll be tough, but nothing beats a good challenge. The colorful clothes and funky headgear of the Hutsuls are a delight. Enhancing their cultural richness is the Trembita, a remarkable long musical instrument that may be up to 26 feet long.

Let's restore its full charm with these easy steps:

🍁 Step 1 - Use a moisture cloth to wipe your cane clean and remove any dust or dirt.

🍁 Step 2 - Get them gleaming: Use a semi-solid wax meant for wooden furniture to polish wooden parts of the cane.

🍁 Step 3 - Make the metal sparkle: Apply multi-purpose metal polish to metal parts like the collar ring and metal head. Be careful: avoid metal polish touching wood.
