On April 21, the most unusual workshop of pysanky making. For the first time in the world, we created Easter eggs inspired by Ukrainian avant-garde art of the beginning of the 20th century.
In the hall dedicated to the theater of Les Kurbas, 13 participants wrote original Pysanky eggs using the classic wax technique.
Thanks to and Ukrainian Army🇺🇦 for the opportunity to continue Ukrainian traditions.

The most famous ukrainian poet and painter Taras Shevchenko is 210 years today.
My artwork "Taras. The circle of life" was made in 2014. This is round panel with 12 chicken eggs and 1 goose egg with stylized illustrations of Taras's paintings and life milestones at the same time.

The monument to the founders of Kyiv was erected in 1982 in honor of the 1500th anniversary of Kyiv. The monument is located on the embankment of the Dnipro in Navodnytskyi Park near the Paton Bridge.
The sculptural composition is made of forged copper in the form of a flat boat, where the figures of the founders of Kyiv are set: the brothers Kiy, Shchek, Horiv and their sister Lybedi. Authors: sculptor Vasyl Borodai, architect Mykola Feshchenko.
According to the legend about the founding of Kyiv, the city was founded by three brothers from the Polyan tribe - Kiy, Shchek and Horiv, and their sister Lybid.
The name of Kyiv comes from the name of Kiy, the eldest of three brothers who are considered the founders of the capital city of Ukraine. The legend of Kiy came down to us in the annals of the 12th century. "The story of past years".

45 days of terrible shocks, constant fear for loved ones, guilt and inefficiency. Moral pain was accompanied by attacks of physical pain throughout the body, as if every cell of my body hurt. The realization that your people are being exterminated only because of its existence, it turns out, miraculously hardens the spirit and love of life. Gratitude for every day that is alive and well. In the last month, I have sent dozens of Easter eggs to all over the world. Part of the money received goes to support the army, help the elderly and families with children. My stocks of goose eggs, which I bought on a farm in Mariupol, almost ran out. There are maybe 15 blanks left from those stocks. The owner of that farm does not get in touch for obvious reasons. The city of Mariupol in southern Ukraine was 95% destroyed by the russian occupiers. Therefore, for me, these Easter eggs become something more than a decorative beauty. The whole of Ukraine, its spiritual culture and ancient traditions live in my Easter eggs. Only now do I realize what I'm doing. If russian troops captured Kyiv, they would cut off my entire patriotic family. There is no doubt. But as long as I live, I will carry the cultural traditions of Ukraine.
