新酒廠快報！！！這次引進位於加州Alameda的《派系釀酒廠 Faction Brewing》。
Rodger Davis（合夥人&首席釀酒師）已涉足西海岸精釀啤酒行業 20 多年。羅傑最初是南加州人，並擁有芝加哥西貝爾理工之世界釀酒學院(Siebel Institute of Technology and World Brewing Academy)的啤酒釀造科學證書。在創立 Faction 之前，他是聖萊安德羅 Drake’s Brewing 啤酒廠和柏克萊 Triple Rock Brewery 啤酒廠的首席釀酒師。
Faction Brewing 生產各種啤酒，包括拉格、司陶特、比利時風格啤酒、桶陳啤酒以及偶爾的酸啤酒。但他們真正的專長和熱情在於啤酒花風格突出的啤酒。他們致力於釀造能夠充分體現啤酒花風味的Pale Ale和IPA，同時保留低苦度和出色的適飲性，誠如Faction Brewing的座右銘—— WE ARE BITTER, OUR BEER IS NOT.

Faction Brewing produces a wide range of beers including lagers, stouts, Belgian style beers, barrel aged beers, and the occasional sour. But their true specialty and passion lies in hoppy beers. They strive to make Pale Ales and IPAs that highlight the full expression of the hops while retaining low bitterness and excellent drinkability.
Rodger Davis (co-owner, head brewer) has been a part of the West Coast Craft Beer scene for over 20 years. Originally a Southern California native, Rodger received his certificate in Brewing Science from Siebel Institute of Technology and World Brewing Academy in Chicago. Before opening Faction he was the Head Brewer at Drake’s Brewing in San Leandro and Triple Rock Brewery in Berkeley.

新酒廠快報！！！這次引進位於加州Paso Robles的《席爾瓦釀酒廠 Silva Brewing》。
創辦人「Chuck Silva」和「西岸IPA」幾乎是同義詞，Silva在美式IPA的基礎下於精釀啤酒業建立了自己的聲譽，在創立自己的酒廠之前他曾於Green Flash Brewing Co.擔任首席釀酒師一職，經典的 Green Flash 西岸IPA 仍然是所有beer geeks心目中排名數一數二的標準。作為Green Flash的釀酒師，他見證了該公司的成長與快速擴張，然後於2015年離開，在加州中央海岸拓展自己的事業--Silva Brewing。
我們很幸運能夠從現代西岸IPA的創始人和「發明者」之一那裡獲得一些最好的精釀啤酒，讓我們拭目以待！

New Brewery Alert!!! Silva Brewing, Paso Robles, California.
Chuck Silva and West Coast IPA are pretty synonymous, Silva built his reputation in the beer industry on the back of American IPA—in this case, the classic Green Flash West Coast IPA, which remains a benchmark of the style in any reputable beer geek’s rankings. As brewmaster of Green Flash, he was there for the company’s rapid expansion from “San Diego brewery” to “regional brewery” to national craft brewery before leaving in 2015 to start his own project on the California Central Coast.
Silva Brewing is that project and we are lucky to be getting some of the best craft beers from one of the originators and 'inventors' of the modern West Coast IPA.
