Our humble beginnings

HAO Halal Hub was formed by the HAO Group, who also runs HAO mart, HAO megamart, and Eccellente by HAO mart.

HAO Group saw the need for a Halal-focused grocery store, where the Muslim community in Singapore could be rest assured that they can find products they need. While there are several Halal minimarts scattered across Singapore, they only offered a small selection of products. In late 2018, HAO Group spearheaded the development of HAO Halal Hub, Singapore’s first chain of Halal supermarkets.

Customer demand led to quick expansion, and HAO Halal Hub now has 15 outlets islandwide. HAO Halal Hub works hard to import products from all over the world, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Korea, offering a wide selection of unique Halal-certified products in its stores.
