Event Update
Date: 22nd April 2023 (Saturday)
Time: 2pm to 7pm (sharp)

Venue: In front iBrew Shop (Blk 354, Clementi Ave 2, #01-195)

We are excited to welcome all of our invitees. Your enthusiasm and support have been truly humbling. 300 confirmed attendees. We received 71 entries for our bottled beer contest. 26 homebrewed kegs and 200L of sponsored beer committed to the event.

Here's what you can expect:

Please check in with your allotted number from 2pm onwards. You will receive a wristband and a beer menu.

Beer will be free-flowing and served in plastic disposable cups, but you're encouraged to bring your own cup or mug. A water point for mug rinsing will be available.

The event is free-standing, and some plastic seats, round and square tables will be available for sharing.

Light snacks will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own food. Please dispose of your waste properly and help us keep the place clean.

The event is child and pet-friendly, but please be mindful of using our borrowed event space. Music is provided to get you on your feet. Moderate enjoyment is encouraged.

We ask that you drink responsibly, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Homebrewed Bottle Beer Contest

iBrew Challenge is an event based on a homebrewing contest. Amateur brewers producing beer, mead, and cider are invited to send in their crafted bottles.

Beers can be entered in one of seven categories:
Lager, Light Ale, Dark/Strong Ale, IPA, Farmhouse & Sour, Belgian and Specialty.

Each entry must be accompanied with the style reference number. e.g American Light Lager is 1A. Beer style reference number can be found in the BJCP style guidelines.
The brewer must decide which category to compete in. Beers are judged based on the merits of its style as decided by the brewer.
Judges' decision will be final.
In the event of insufficient entries for certain categories, they may be merged.

Two bottles are required for submission. Winners of categories must present a 3rd bottle on 22nd April for Best of Show award.

Hello Sunday! What's brewing at iBrew today?

We had Craft Brew Club Social Secretary-cum-homebrewer, Laura Rutland, demonstrating the ease of extract brewing! It was an enriching session for new home brewers and we are looking forward to the next session happening on 29 October where Laura will then demo all grain brewing!

Plus to Desmond & Sylvan for the DJ tunes, the emcee-ing & trivia games!

It's all these fun stuff that added to the festivities of the wonderful beers that were pouring and heightened the camaraderie!

Our 11th was a success because of all our supporters and friends!! Thank you to everyone - our 650 guests, brewers, sponsors, volunteers, part timers, vendors....for making the event happen! Looking forward to planning !

A HUGE THANK YOU to all our friends and supporters who turned up for !!! After a brief rain shower, the weather was perfect for an afternoon of awesome beers & delish bites!!

Big clap of thanks too to all our home brewers who contributed to the event and our sponsors for their commercial craft beers!

Kudos to our judges, volunteers - including the brewers who pitched in to help us prepare for the event & clear up after - and part timers for making time to be part of ! Your support was crucial to the success of the event! The home brew community spirit was definitely felt and strong!

We more than hit our target turnout with almost 650 pax!!!!

Congrats to all the runners-up & winners! And of course the Singapore Disc Golf and lucky draw winners!

Thank you to each & everyone of you for making yesterday's celebration a success! Hope all of you enjoyed yourselves too! We shall be looking forward to the next iBrew Challenge!
