I jedną z najlepszych.

Skojarzenia? Jakubowa drabina, symbol dążenia do doskonałości i przekraczania granic. Winiarstwo Rumunii to wciąż praca w toku.

IndigeneWines.com (dosł.: Rodzime wina) to ambitny sklep internetowy z siedzibą w Bukareszcie, prowadzony przez pasjonatów z misyjnym podejściem do szerzenia kultury wina.

Pinot Noir has been associated with Romania for more than a century and has been particularly important in the sector since the 1980s.

The Romanian Pinot Noir story started in earnest in the late 70s, when Romania started a contract with PepsiCo, whereby we were buying Pepsi-Cola concentrate in exchange for wine. Export markets collapsed in the 90s and local demand at the time was not strong as Romanians were reported to be obsessed with dark-colored reds. But it is currently enjoying resurgence due to the small wineries that appeared in Romania and that consider that this variety deserves more attention.

🍷BAEUR - P. N.
A wine created by Oliver Bauer, a German-born winemaker. His statement is "Natural Creativity" and this says it all :)

🍷TERRA PRETIOSA from Domeniile Franco-Române
A wine created by Denis Thomas, a winemaker from Bourgogne. Unsurprisingly, given the Burgundian connection, Pinot Noir being the most important grape here.

FETEASCĂ NEAGRĂ Bio – VIGNERON cree par Denis Thomas

A Fetească neagră wine made in the traditional style of Dealu Mare, the most famous Romanian vineyard. An intense red-purple color associated with a fine structure, but still with very intense tannins. VIGNERON cree par Denis Thomas wine will spoil your senses with aromas of plum, woody touches, spices, berries and ripe cherries. All in a wonderful organic wine, and an excellent gastronomic companion for meat and cheese.

Rasova Tortuga Red presents an impressive aromatic complexity, intense aromas, specific to the Murfatlar area, and a delicious fruity character. Dense, deep, dark red. Lots of layers, lots of things to be revealed. The Fetească neagră, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah varieties sign this unique red expression, which enjoys maturation in oak barrels for 18 months, and the result is an irresistible one: aromas of smoked plums, berries, bitter chocolate, to***co leaves, espresso and black pepper. A medium aftertaste with chocolate and cherries; more aging will benefit greatly.

The wine is produced using old winemaking sparkling method, with the second natural fermentation in the bottle, kept on the yeast.

It can be enjoyed limpid or dim (if the bottle is shaken).

The pearling is soft and elegant. The aromas are of lime, green apple, bread roast and linden. The taste is creamy and savory but fresh and extremely dry.

As the foundation of nearly every conversation about Romanian wines, Fetească Neagră occupies an exclusive position.

We chose 6 Fetească Neagră wines of some of our favorite producers, from different wine regions with different climates. We found a dizzying diversity chasing subtle particularities from the cooler regions of Transylvania and north of Moldavia to the warmer region of Dealu Mare.

Fetească Albă or White Maiden or White Fairy is an indigenous grape variety representative for Romania, thousands of years old. It is planted in various areas, mainly in Transylvania, Moldavia and north of the Grater Wallachia. It is fascinating to discover the particularities of each area given by the terrain typology and the wine-making styles.

The name Fetească (meaning young girl, virgin, pure, unmarried, fairy) leads to femininity and the delicacy of the women. Therefore it highlights the cherishing that Romanians have for the wine, as for the women. In Romania we have the tendencies to personify the wine, to resemble it to the women, and Fetească in all her varieties is one eloquent example.

The harvesting of the grapes is done late, at full maturity and the wine has aging potential. The variety can give high quality sparkling wines.

Usually the wine making process is dry. The wine is fresh with green fruits temps, citric or floral, but also complex especially after barrel maturation.

Podișul Transilvaniei (Siebenbürgisches Becken, The Transylvanian Plateau) is in the center of Romania, like a fortress surrounded by the highest Romanian mountains.

Beside the beauty and the mysticism of the places, which had inspired many stories (such as Dracula), this region has a very rich history. Transylvania is the home for many ethnic populations, especially Hungarians and Germans who had substantially influenced the local culture, including wine making.
